I have two of these bad boys at work and I love them. I was going to replace my move my Dell U2414H to secondary monitor duties (currently have an ancient Samsung SyncMaster 940a there) and get the EB243YU for my primary display. They were in stock at Microcenter just a few weeks ago for $160...
Everything's in my sig. I have no RGB at all but the mobo has AsRock Polychrome control. I'm up in the air regarding RGB control, but I always felt like Corsair's ecosystem for RGB is expensive.
The ProXT is CoolIT rather than Asetek, so it uses an old-style crossbar mounting system. For the...
Linus does some nutty stuff and it's fun to watch. He's also really honest and willing to admit when he's wrong. He also calls out vendors for stupid shit. I think he and Kyle would actually get along really well. He was certainly pulling for Kyle on the whole nVidia GPP thing.
Yeah, I'm not too worried about it being too crazy. My other plan was to get a 32" 1080p TV and mount it to the wall behind my son's desk but my wife pointed out that it would probably cause him to crane his neck a lot to look at it and it would be complete overkill. This is definitely a better...
I don't wanna bust the bank but I don't wanna get the poor kid a turd with shitty viewing angles, either.
I don't wanna get him the $100 special if you can't look at it from more than 10 degrees off straight on. That said, the kid doesn't need 144Hz G-Sync to play Minecraft or watch YouTube...
So... I'm looking to go water-cooling on my box and I've been wondering: Is there actually any benefit to having two radiators vs one?
I've got a Corsair Air 540, so there's PLENTY of space in there. I could put a 360 on the front and a 280 on the top, but how much benefit would there actually...
I've got a 560Ti and it's... Well... Old. Unfortunately, I don't have a ton of cash these days. I don't game hardcore, just the occasional TF2 or CS:GO session, but who knows what other game I might find interest in, so I don't want to get bottom of the barrel.
Is the 1050Ti or the RX560...
For that XT 360... Are you talking about this one?
or this one?
Yeah, except AMD hasn't been quite as good at keeping up. AMD nipping at Intel's heels is much more likely these days than Intel nipping at AMD's.
I was an AMD fanboy. Was. My current build is my first Intel build ever. Ryzen's been tempting me, though.
I'm looking to water-cool my box (case is a Corsair Air 540) and I want to max out my radiator coverage (a 2x140 on top and a 3x120 in the front) now so it can support any future hardware upgrades with ease. Plumbing will be easy with this case.
What would you guys suggest for those radiator sizes?
What annoys me about arguments like you see in threads like this are that even Intel fanboys should be happy about a competitive AMD. AMD being competitive lights a fire under Intel's ass. AMD putting out good chips is good for people that only buy Intel, as long as Intel responds well.
Sorry, I just woke up after a long night. I'll own that fuckup.
However, it's still not Apple's fault, and I'm not an Apple fan. People still need to learn to not be fuckups. I'm beginning to think that there need to be more stringent rules for being able to get your license. I've witnessed the...
Actually, they ended up vanishing.
I ended up getting this: http://www.target.com/p/vizio-d-series-55-class-uhd-120hz-full-array-led-smart-tv-black-d55u-d1/-/A-50651370
With Cartwheel it came out to $512.99. I unfortunately don't have a Red Card (used to but they canceled it... long story) for...
Everybody missed the most important part of this article.
This guy's an ex-FIREFOX developer.
Firefox. You know, that giant clusterfuck of memory leaks, unfixed bugs, and bloated features that NOBODY asked for. I call it Firefucks.
Are we really gonna believe THIS guy?
He wouldn't want to hit my wife. He wouldn't win that battle. There's a reason I call her The Beast From the East. Good Estonian/Ukranian women will fuck you up if you get them angry. I'm glad she's on my side.
