Hey. I just finished putting a new pc together and I'm running Prime95. I have a E4500. Core Temp is giving me temps of 54/55 for each core and I'm currently at test 7. Are those temps safe? What would be dangerous? Thanks.
I've always had Corsair or Crucial in my rigs. Might try these in my new one.

The price for this set is only $120. Looks like a very good deal to me. But what I need to know is if anyone has...
I'm getting the following monitor : Acer AL2216WBD 22IN Widescreen Lcd Monitor Black 1680X1050 700:1 5MS Vga DVI-D Monitor
My video card (for now) is : XFX GeForce 8600GTS XXX 730MHZ 256MB 2.26GHZ DDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDTV HDCP DIRECTX10 Video Card
I read that most people get a better...
I have two WD 500gb SE16. I want to put all my music, pictures and movies and stuff on one and use the other for XP. I have never had more than 1 hard drive so I'm pretty much clueless if this is considered Raid.
I'm building a new rig in the next couple weeks. I'm not jumping over to vista just quite yet. I have a licensed XP from an older rig that I ended up selling most of the parts. Can I use it and not have problems getting microsoft updates?
I've decided to get a better cpu heatsink. Looking at Tuniq Tower or Thermalright ULTRA-120 Extreme and in several customer reviews at Newegg people say that they had to lap it. What exactly is that? Is it hard to do and what tools do you need? Thanks.
I have a CM Stacker Evolution and a Noctua NH-U12F. However I had to remove the door that holds the 4x fans because it wouldn't close. But I'd like to have a heatsink that still allows me to have those 4x side fans. Any ideas? Thanks.
I just received some Noctua case fans. They come with a 3 to 4 pin adapter. Now what's boggling me is that some adapters have only 2 pins at the molex and others have 4. Is still ok to use the ones with 2? Thanks.
Is it possible to use the Ultra-Low-Noise Adaptor that came with my 120MM Noctua fan with other fans? I don't really need them with my Noctua fans as they are dead quiet already. I have some 120 mm Antec Tri cool fans and 120mm Cooler Master Blue Neon LED Fans. Thanks.
Is it true that when the 60MM fan goes on it doesn't stop? Is it loud?
I want a good (of course we all do) PSU wich is reliable, quiet as possible and dependable.

I'm building a rig for the first time. So far not too good. I'm pretty sure I installed everything correctly but when I power up I don't get any video from the monitor. And the monitor is fine as my old cp works fine with it. My memory is Corsair 2048MB PC-3500LLPR0 TWINX. I put in the black...
Right now I'm looking at Corsair but is OCZ better?
Here's my rig: (soon)
