With all the VRAM issues coming up in games, your best bet at $700 is a 6950XT for $700. Comes with 16GB of memory which with a lot of newer games it does need.
If you can afford Nvidia, I would try to see if you can get a used 3090 RTX, or if you can spend an extra $100, get a 7900XT.
70% of the negative reviews are from people who A. dont wait for the shaders to compile or B. run out of vram while trying to run in Ultra.
Now DLSS is a mesh in the game no doubt about that though. But, there are plenty of people playing the game with no issues. Sounds like LOUP1 is the new...
Interesting considering the 7900xtx is 1% slower at 1440p against the 4080 and 1% faster in 4k in a 50+ game benchmark. Looks like the infinity fabric isn't helping at all at 1440p against the 4080?

They are known for in depth reviews which are unbiased. One of the few sites left who do great reviews.
Heck if The Last of Us is any indication of the future of PC gaming. It seems 8GB might struggle with 1080p ultra quality settings. It isn't that the GPU isn't powerful enough, it just runs out of memory.
I would not get a GPU under 16GB of memory right now imo.
Considering the 4080 and 4070ti aren't selling well.....Its a minority that is buying the newer cards.
I hate to even say this, but right now the 6950XT, and 7900XT are much better buys (With the 7900XT at $800) over a 4070ti just because of VRAM alone.
IMO the the 4070ti and 6950XT should be...
I do watch LTT sometimes. But, with all the crap about tech and security they have showed numerous times. It is a bad look that they got hacked. Basically someone got past the youtube 2fa from some PC or device that was unsecured. Sounds like his own company dont follow proper security...
No idea, but I can tell you that the 6950XT at $699 is a pretty damn good deal ($664 currently). If a 4070 is released can't even beat the 6950XT and being $50 more....its a fail right off the bat.
IMO the 7900XT isn't terribly priced now......MAYBE AMD learned to stop being greedy and...
So far i think so. Doesn’t mean they won’t add in bullshit like p2w transactions etc, but in this build I’m impressed. I guess I set low expectations after Diablo immortal
Yeah to me this is a merger of D2 and D3 style. I actually don't mind how dark and gritty it is. Thats what made Diablo 1 and 2 an instant classic for me.
Glad its not cartoony
I mean.....this is a closed beta. They are testing and we are supporting the testing.
This is going to happen quite a bit. No reason to complain about issues during a closed beta.
Well when you install this beta (Which is open next week) It lets you choose if you want to install the high resolution textures. So, if you are worried about system resources than just make sure not to install them.
So question to the people who ordered using the KFC app. Did you have to make a KFC account to get the beta key? Or just ordered as guest and the beta key eventually showed up in an email?
13900k is about 1% faster in 4k overall in a 53 game benchmark. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/rtx-4090-53-games-core-i9-13900k-vs-ryzen-7-5800x3d/2.html
Depends. It could also make people move over to AMD if a 7600x3d is fighting blows with a 13900k. Could give them quite a bit more market share and have people on the AMD ecosystem.
That in itself might make it worth it in the long run. Of course I agree that I don’t think they ever will...
With this graph it makes the 4070ti look even worse since it matches the 6950xt, which can be found for $699.....And has 16GB of memory. https://shop-us-en.amd.com/amd-radeon-rx-6950-xt-graphics/
Since the 3090 cannot be found anymore for MSRP and is EOL, It is a good description.
The 4070ti is an overpriced card that should be around $600-650, specially since its only a 12gb card.
