CableMod has quality builds, but they do something that I think is a VERY weird thing with their cables. When you lay the CableMod flat on a table, both connector ends have their latches/catches facing the same direction (ex: up/up). In this orientation, when you connect the cables this results...

Any Z170 chipset would probably be overkill in this system. Z170 has its advantages over H170, but I hope even Dan will agree that this case isn't designed with overclocking in mind. I think it would be best to run a stock clocked fan-cooled system, and that tells me to use H chips and avoid Z...
