I used to have a K750 before spilling coffee on it... Absolutely loved it. Still reckon its one of the best keyboards I've ever typed on. I've moved onto mechs, but still miss it! If they released a TKL version, I'd buy one in a second.
I would wait then, give it a few weeks for the major bugs to be ironed out. Windows 8.1 works very well on tablets anyway. Windows 10 is more of a god send for desktop/laptops users.
Some really nice big screen setups. Interesting to see people are starting to use TV's as monitors. Not sure if I could hack a 48" screen on a desk, might be too large for me! Still look really good though.
I'd be very surprised if this monitor doesn't come to the US. Give it time, I reckon Q1 next year you should see it. And its up for pre-order here in Australia, $1040AU from Scorptec.
Damn, stumbled upon this monitor after researching the LG 40UB800T for use as my main monitor. Looks like this could be a winner. Will keep my eyes on this thread and upcoming reviews.
Yeah if you're planning on using the tablet for any serious computing stuff, wait for the i7. Whilst the i5 is fine for most everyday tasks, if you're planning on using this for photoshop/graphical tasks, wait for the i7!
Guys, has there been a mistake made on the battery life being reported? Why is the Blade with 3k and 870M getting double the battery life of the bigger MSi offering?
^ The KBT Race is a gorgeous keyboard. Was desperately trying to find one for ages, ended up giving up and buying a Keycool 84 with PBT keys. Love it, but still would love a KBT Race...
Agreed completely. Can't imagine myself ever going back to normal size/TKL either after getting a 75% keyboard. All the buttons you need like Pg Up/Pg Dn, plus arrow keys and F keys. In a very compact package freeing up massive amounts of desk space.
^ Tyler, looks good. I can also recommend the Logitech K750 if you're after a decent scissor switch keyboard. Very nice to type on, very thin like the Rapoo. Plus comes with the added bonus of being wireless and solar powered. Charges off ambient light from a desk lamp, never have to worry about...
^ Very nice setup. I'm in the market for a new office chair. Currently tossing up between the Buro Metro and the Ikea Markus. How do you find the Markus out of interest? Specifically comfort when sitting for long periods of time and lower back support.
My brother is very keen on grabbing a K70. Told him to hold off now till we get some solid info on when this one is coming out. Then again, I don't think he really cares too much about all the colours lol.
Thanks for the reply. As an office/productivity monitor, Seiki should do very well. Plenty of screen real estate. Any opinions on how it handles gaming at downscaled 1080p?
Are you after mechanical switches? Any budget in mind?
From memory you can get pretty cheap generic chinese made membrane keyboards off ebay, deal extreme etc.
If you're after something more expensive with mechanical switches, I'd recommend something like the Poker. Very small keyboards, which...
So many buttons?! I can sort of understand why MMO players would want this, but for me, its a nightmare of accidental button presses waiting to happen :)
