Got the monitor yesterday, ordered it from germany. It's fantasic! It's HUGE! It was already spoken of in this thread but I cannot find it. The whole monitor lights up blue with a philips logo, it's intensely bright, especially turning it on at night. Is there a way to disable that start logo...

I was using a 3 monitor setup and even went back to a simple 24 inch monitor. I found that I had to turn my head too much if I had to go from one end to the other. (Which happened a lot during a work session) I can imagine that it would be very cool for gaming though. But I am sure the 40 inch...

I got mine for 650 euros in the Netherlands but I have been waiting since 13 December. They said that it would be ready to send on 5 January. Hoping I will get it next week.

Most tv's have massive input lag, not great for gaming. Also be sure to check if it can run 4K @ 60hz.

Can anyone recommend a good monitor arm (one that you can attach to a desk) for this monitor? I like the freedom this would give and i want it to hover. Would this be possible with this monitor? It seems that most of these mounts are for monitors up to 27inch. I will have a piano-keyboard...

tftcentral says that the PWM is only activated when you lower the brightness of the screen. Guess it's time to take out my sunglasses. Would there also be PWM with a program like Flux? Or any other software that would make everything darker?

I ordered this monitor. Should I worry about this? I'm alright with it If this "magenta" stuff isn't used in any games or normal desktop use.

Mostly World of Warcraft or other future MMOs. But also first person shooters like team fortress 2. Other then that all kinds of games that are found on steam. Hoping the input lag won't mess with playing those games :)

I will probably get this monitor here in the Netherlands but I am still wondering about input lag someone here said that's it's "acceptable". I would not want to end up noticing it all the time. Also wondering about it being semi glossy/matte. I have always had full matte monitors. Does this...
