Nvidia is a corporation that will flex its power to expand, improve, and dominate the environment it is in. Every corporation does the same. I admire Jensen and the empire he has built. NV is a well-run company and innovates like few others. The strong survive and the weak expire. Hopefully...
Yeah, no. Holmes never made anything that worked.
Sure, Musk lives at the government trough, but he at least produces something. Whether you like what he produces or not is another story.
You can have all the fabs in the world and it's worthless if you can't get the substrates and the rest of the products needed to produce CPU's. Until US industry/government puts the effort in to make sourcing everything within the US there are still national security implications for semiconductors.
Most people just want to play games. They don't care for Time Spy scores, epeen contests, or max performance. These people aren't buying mid-tier. They are buying good enough for them. That's the biggest part of the market. Everyone arguing over benchmarks and such are those with the means to...
Received my Neo G7 and it's great for gaming. The curve takes some getting used to for the desktop, but I mostly game so no biggie. I like it a lot. With that said, I'll show myself out of this IPS thread since I went VA.
Yeah, the G8 appears to have problems that the G7 doesn't have from the reviews I've seen. The price of the G7 just dropped to $1099 from $1299 so I'm going to pull the trigger on a Neo G7.
Okay, been reading through the thread and I still can't decide what the best display for me would be.
1. I only game on my PC.
2. PC has RTX 4090 and 13700K. Plenty powerful.
3. Want to do HDR while gaming.
4. Budget is under $1500
What 32" Display would you recommend based on the above.
Why you are using the weaker card on a higher resolution display. Seems like you would want the 4090 on the 4K display. Case size issues? Just wondering. <shrug>
Max settings on everything including RT. DLSS quality with frame generation. Game looks great and holds a steady 97 FPS (max gsync setting is 97 of 100hz for my display) @ 3440x1440. Just played a little bit so have to keep going to see if any artifacts are noticeable.
