im guessing they released the 4090 to get the sales before the (real) 4080 hits the shelves for a much more (although far too high) be interesting to see how the cripped 4080 (4070) does

if they can get the drivers fixed up seems like a decent everyday GPU for the majority of the market who isnt after HEDT stuff where the GPU consumes their entire budget.

so far: the Amplifi Alien i had to sent back two units they just rebooted randomly, and the one set i bought through Amazon... 3 weeks later still waiting on the my refund from the Ubiquiti reseller selling through Amazon one client I stuck an Amplifi HD at to cover his home and machine shop...

thats what is holding me back from upgrading my m1 macbook pro 13, all that awesome new tech and GPU power and other than final cut and WoW there is like nothing to use the gpu power on...Apple needs to pick up a couple AAA devs to get some AAA titles into arm based macs

no announcements yet for WOW, latest patch was a joke from what I hear. youd think those subs would be their focus as im sure that's a huge part of their revenue

lacks some PvE Endgame, but that would come in time but so many bugs and exploits. on my server the primary controlling faction was always syndicate so one of the largest guild changed factions and took all their territory from themselves lol

looking at server pops, cap is 2000 and after only what 6 weeks there is 100-300 on many servers at peak times. they best make some changes and merges if they want to salvage this one. i was enjoying it but didnt take long for all my friends to stop playing

Yeah that is kind of where I am at, i like the idea of more speed but really the majority of my m1 mac use is web interfaces and remote desktop for clients lol, larger screen is the only real draw I have my Alienware x17 for gaming and horsepower if needed
