That's a lie; that card doesn't even turn the fans ON in some games (and it's inside of an ITX Case)... maybe you live in 100+ weather or something...
I have been playing with them and doing overclocks. 0 issues...
I'm trying to break all the 4080 records in 3dmark on my CPU class.
My graphics score is way higher than any heavily OCd 4080 but when it comes to Physics and Combined scores i rank lower. that could be the CPU? or my ram is too slow? "3600mhz 64GB"
I think it’s because Fortnite's competitive mode doesn’t demand too much. It’s more like a “low graphics, high refresh, and low input lag thing. But, During the shadow of the tomb raider benchmark the card was pulling between 348w-370w while boosting a bit over 3ghz. Also, the difference between...
sure... I think this is the only game I own that has a benchmark option and seems to be broken anyway... fullscreen/windowed = different results.

There is no nitro 7900 xtx available because they don't even last a minute on Newegg. tired of waiting for the last 2 weeks I bought this one. For my video processing, "job" i use topaz ai and proteus fine-tune, the card shaved almost 25-35% of processing time on 4k videos which is a great.

I bet you don't own currently an AMD GPU don't you? the adrenaline software is miles ahead of what nvidia currently offers and I do own both.
OP, I bought 10 Low Profile w3100 for an internet cafe nearby, I was totally unaware of that series being LP and that cheap.
they can still make a 76xx, 77xx, 78xx, 7950, 7970, and 7990.
Or Maybe it's because back in the day there was the Radeon HD 6000 series. "67xx, 68xx, 6950, 6970 and 6990"
if the dude from AMD said that about the 4080, good for them keeping transparency and didn't do shady/anticonsumer stuff like 3060 8GB or the 4070/80 scam.
well, 2 weeks left, I will wait for sapphire anyway, I don't really care if they sell a bit above MSRP. but I'm not buying an nvidia card ever. I really think they are an anti-consumer garbage company with 0 real innovation. cough cough 3060 8GB...
The only key difference from chiplets to MCMs to today is cost reduction... AMD pull it out by implementing their own design and tech. also, Pentium Pro was really the first "consumer level" MCM "processor+cache"...

AMD clearly stated the 7900xtx was not competing against 4090... the damn card is not even near close to the price bracket. no wonder why he got ratio'd. also, there are currently AIB-designs showing triple-8-pin, obviously they will have higher power and frequency.
