The problem is I don't live in a City. Chicago is 35 miles away, and I live in the armpit of Indiana and Chicago. So... coverage changes like the wind or like breaking wind. The area is so spotty for any one carrier it's almost anyone's guess who the best carrier is from town to town.

As for your issues with the old drive. Could be that you don't have any failure on the mag platters of the drive but the drive, mechanically, might be degrading but not enough to outright kick solid errors. Though I would suspect you're getting em in the form of your games crashing...

That makes sense. Did you do any under volting with curve optimizer? That might be one of the best ways you can tweak the thermals so that the processor holds maximum boost clocks and runs cooler. I would imagine to get this thing cool you would have to delid it and do direct CCD cooling.
