4K series is a rip off.
I still hate the fact I paid $400 for a 3060 just to get HDMI 2.1 and not lose performance over my 1080 XLR8. AMD just never works for me, buggy ass drivers everytime.
Now the 4070 is launching at $750. What a joke.
We need a good $400 card. I really hate paying even...
Looks like a window? Maybe a window with petrolium jellt smeared all over it.
Plenty of people usng OLED to consume HDR, and enjoying it, was to refute your idiotic claim no one uses OLED for HDR. You either are just trolling, or lack reading comprehension. Requiring calibrtion between sources...
Plenty of people use OLED for HDR, you are just making sh*t up now. HDR is a gimmick anyway, 99% of the time the source is not calibrated to your display, requiring adjustment for every applicaton, if it even works right to begin with (mode switching). Thus producing a blurry mess in high zones...
Subjective prattling.
Enjoy your off axis washout, glowing corners, and smeared motion.
Your eyes must be ruined by blasing them with harmful LED sources. I have my C2 42 set to 15% brightness, and it's still too bright in some instances. I have always calibrated my displays for 110-120 nits...
HDR is unstandardized garbage.
At least OLED does not suffer from off axis glow or gamma shift, slow blurry pixel transitions and backlight bleed.
You can have erratic HDR, I'll take the OLED pros.
Depending on the game/ app, but in most cases a Haswell or Broadwell is a bottleneck for a 3060. My 9700K is a bottleneck in many cases. Some games just don't efficiently feed the GPU, and need a more modern CPU to not choke.
I am waiting for some sales to go with 13600K or 13700K.
With the brightness comparison, he's docking the LG for having an accurate image, while praising the G8 when it's a blurry washed out mess. You can't even tell what's in the center of the screen on the G8, it's just a blob of light. Stupid. These are the HDR fanbois, who don't realize HDR is a...
If you are not impoverished, it's just a matter of budgeting and saving. I remember my first GPU upgrade, I budgeted every meal, saving about $15 a day for a month, and had my GPU.
I am using Z390, that's PCIe 3.0, with RTX 3060. It seem fine, has nothing to do with display performance if that's what you are asking. Maybe a few percent frames less in my research, but no way to confirm.
I think it's the opposite, as long s you change your GPU settings to 444/ RGB. Setting the input to console might switch to 422. In either case, some text artifacts will persist, due to the WRGB pixerl layout.
I use PC on the input type and set label to PC, RGB 10bit full in NVCP. Also scroll...
Has anyone noticed the image does not fill to the bottom bezel on their LG C2? No matter the source or scaling option, there is a small gap between the image and bottom bezel that is not present on the other three sides.
Use a piece of plywood (or hard wood) that is larger than the mounting plate for the arm. Use toggle bolts at the corners of the board, as well as adhesive under it. You can paint the board to match your wall if you choose. Use woodscrews to mount the arm to the board.
A Sandybridge systen would be a nice upgrade, and you could keep your DDR3. An i7 2600K is one of the best bang for buck deals on the market if you shop around. I recommend a Gigabyte Z68 UD series mobo. X58/Z97 mobos are too expensive IMO. Superb and stable patform, I had mine for eight years...
Some of them can work in various specific use cases, meaning specific hardware and application configs.
If you just want a good all purpose tweak, without worring about compatibility or security degredation, just disable the Sysmain service (Superfetch) and use an app like Shut Up 10, or WPD to...
Anything Windows sucks on multiple sockets, even S2019. Faster single package would be better IMO. You will learn real quick that the Windows scheduler is trash the more logical cores you throw at it.
The graphite pads/ sheets, are excellent performers. A few degrees off typical high end pastes, an never have to worry about uniformity or drying out. The Grizzly brand is a little better, but more fragile and harder to get to stay flat...
Poor black levels, within reason, would not be as much of an issue with IPS, if it were not for the "IPS glow" and uniformity issues (bleed), on black or dark backgrounds. It's really the only drawback of IPS compared to other LCD tech, but it is a huge issue.
I don't know if anyone in this...
