Think that all monitors have the scanlines but some people just don't notice them? Or some monitors really don't have the scan line issues? I know for sure that at 120hz they disappear, but at 240hz it's clearly present.
Vega what settings would you recommend? I'm receiving the monitor today. Also should I switch to Alderlake? I'm running a 5800x3d with a 3090 and games like Halo top off at 138fps and dips into the 100fps at 4k. Also COD Moden Warfare 2019 at 4k max fps 190 to 150.
I just received the monitor and I'm not that impressed. I'm coming from a 32' 4k 144hz Gigabyte Monitor and the Alienware Oled is just not sharp and clear enough. Text is also not the best looking. And the screen also feels smaller. It's very responsive and fast, but its not that much better...
That's what worries me. I'm very use to 4k 144hz gaming , the sharpness and clearness is so good. I tried to play on a 1080p 360hz monitor and it just sucked, no detail and it just looked like a blurry mess.
I have a 32" 4k 144hz gigabyte m32u, and also in love the the sharpness and clearness of 4k gaming. Don't want to down grade to 1440p, but you saying that the AW3423DW is so good I won't be missing the 4k goodness?
