CODMW (not 2) pulled 415 watts! Fans were loud. Averaged maybe 170-ish fps. I have no idea if that's good for 1440p everything maxed out. Is that slow?

Battlefield Bad Company 2 isn't running that great with this card. I max just over 200fps and it frequently dips around 100fps. At the server menu it sits at 112fps. I think my 1080ti did much better. I'd like to keep it running at least 144 fps to match my monitor refresh rate.

Just installed my 7900XTX a few minutes ago and the latest Adrenaline drivers. What settings should I have enabled for gaming in the software? Is the Anti-lag setting effective w/o negative consequences?

I tried the netplwiz option, but when I click apply it asks for a password. I don't have a password. I use a PIN. I installed a registry hack but that didn't work Win 10 Pro Version 1909.

Ordred the Optimus Foundation. I'm assuming the cpu back plate that comes with the mobo is used with it. Asus Crosshair Hero VIII

Yeah, the lack of a back plate with the Optimus leaves me apprehensive. Boards do bend over time when subject to heat and pressure.

My current monitor won't display any image, but the indicator light is on. Lights on, but nobody's home. Display and HDMI port the same. User interface adjustments also won't show. Now I have an excuse to upgrade my monitor. Prefer black blacks, but accurate colors and relatively low input lag...

I didn't know this. How does that apply to what you see on the screen as a true representation of what the print will look like? The screen image should, as close as possible, mirror the details and information in the image itself.

I don't understand why IPS panels are used for photo if the contrast ratios are so bad. They say colors are superior, but you want accurate dark colors and black areas of the photo in addition to the other colors. I don't edit my photos at an angle (who does lol) on my VA monitor, so it's more...

The Samsung Q6, 7,8,9 have 1440p 120Hz above 55". I'm considering the Q6. It has contrast ratios far above the best pc monitor w/ VA panel and low input lag and the 55" isn't too expensive. Just bigger than I prefer.

Maybe I'll just get the Samsung Q70 and sit a bit further back. lol

I can't find an in depth comparison between these two. Anybody know which is the better monitor for gaming and some photo work? Uniformity, VA glow, colors ect. Never had a curved monitor, so not sure how that factors. My current BenQ has atrocious vertical banding and 70 Hz is the max it will...

LG 32GK850G vs Samsung C32HG70. How does the LG compare to the Samsung? Both VA panels cost roughly the same. Is there something better in the same price range?

I'm a few years behind monitor tech, but still waiting for a monitor that has black levels that are actually black, excellent colors, at least 144hz and no edge light bleed or streaks of varying shades. Need good uniformity. Does such a 32"--ish monitor exist?

Photo editing is my primary concern. I'm hoping those 4 cores and small speed bump are worth it. Gaming at 1440p, I'm not too concerned about.

I was considering the 3900X or 3700X, but if the alleged performance is accurate, I may get this instead since the base boost is slightly higher than the 3900X--which may not mean anything since the 3900X rarely oc's to 4.6 if at all. Thoughts?

I've read reviews showing the 9900K still on top with Adobe photoshop over 3900X, but does that hold true with Paintshop Pro? I can't find any reviews that include PSP. I also use Topaz Denoise. I have the itch to upgrade my 7700K to either the AMD 3700X/3900X or the 9900K. I game some at 1440p...
