    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

This is ID-COOLING IS-50 with 5 Direct Touch heatpipes: They also have IS-60 with 6 heatpipes, without Direct Touch though. Dan, maybe you could take some inspirations from them?

    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

Nice work Dan! So Heatpipe Direct Touch is out of the question?

    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

Thanks for the clarification Dan, what are the considerations and challenges of direct touch heatpipe design? I don't see Noctua use it.

    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

would love to see a full copper + vapour chamber version for K model CPUs and of course LGA2011-3.

    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

Would it be even better than full copper Dynatron T318 with vapour chamber?

    X99 on mITX: ASRock X99E-itx/ac

Told you to dig deeper :) Looks like a mismatch between the listing and the actual products shipped. Let me reiterate, i7 CPUs do not work with registered RAMs.

    X99 on mITX: ASRock X99E-itx/ac

If you dig deeper and look closely, the Samsung 32GB and Kingston 2x16GB ECC RAMs you quoted are actually all unbuffered/unregistered. Registered RAM simply do not work with desktop CPU at all.

    X99 on mITX: ASRock X99E-itx/ac

i7 CPUs can support up to 2x16GB ECC UDIMM RAM on Asrock X99 (operate in non-ECC mode), beyond that capacity all ECC RAMs are registered RDIMM which do not work with i7. So for now i7 CPUs only work with maximum 32GB RAM, ECC or not. However I've heard very recently there's a 32GB single stick...

    X99 on mITX: ASRock X99E-itx/ac

Yep totally worth it, if you dont have urgent need, X299 ITX is likely to come out later this year.

    X99 on mITX: ASRock X99E-itx/ac

It's possible but you cannot put those M.2 drives in RAID.

    X99 on mITX: ASRock X99E-itx/ac

Check the other thread "PCI-E Bifurcation" for more info :)

    X99 on mITX: ASRock X99E-itx/ac

Remember it's PCIe 3.0 x8, with that bandwidth your Titan X has zero noticeable performance degradation.

    X99 on mITX: ASRock X99E-itx/ac

Well the PCIe 3.0 x16 on the Asrock X99 ITX mobo can be bifurcated to two PCIe 3.0 x8, that's more than enough for running a GPU and some other devices.

    X99 on mITX: ASRock X99E-itx/ac

The PICe 3.0 on this mobo already works with riser cables. Dan has a X99 mITX build with his A4 case.

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

I pefer B for its unobstructed airflow. Also, any possibility of implementing detachable dust filters as vents? like this: It would shave off the weight of the case quite a bit :)

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

you can use rubber fan screws like this: and use the perforations on the side panel as mounting hole, so you fan attaches to the side panel.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

The cable tie method is not very elegant. You can use rubber fan screw and use the perforations on the side panel to mount the fan.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

5TB 2.5inch 15mm drive is out now, it's from Seagate.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Dan posted temps with Dynatron T318 and the slim 92mm Noctua fan, while it's certainly workable, there's no room for overclocking. The Dynatron cooler is designed for server room application where the cooling fans run like jet engine.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Planning an X99 build with Asrock mobo and i7 6950X, wondering what kind temp would I get with Dynatron T318 and Noctua 92mm slim fan, without the fan running like plane taking off of course :P

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Here comes the grammar police, X299 ITX should be the successor of X99 ITX, not predecessor.

So the Etsy listing for the Ncase M1 carry bag has ended, is there any other way to buy the bag?
