And this is the reason I never buy a new gen card until I'm 100% certain there is a block for it already. Hence the reason I tend to buy reference designs.
Even though I played C64 games. I still preferred my 2600 console. It's not until I played F16 fighting falcon on my cousin's pc that I fell in love with pc gaming and never looked back. Even on a monochrome monitor I was amazed at how complex the game was compared to the arcade type games on...
Notice how all the responses require babying the display to some extent? IMO if you have to baby it then the answer is you should look elsewhere for a monitor for productivity work. A productivity monitor should just work as is without having to jump through "first/one time" hoops to have it be...
I don't doubt what you're saying at all; However if say I have a stocks ticker, static images (excel, word documents, pdf documents) on 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for years; How long you think burn in would take to set in? I use my monitor for work as well as personal use.
You need to log into windows with a Microsoft account to link the activation to the pc. Once you have it linked, you can unlink it by doing the deleting mentioned above.
Nothing to figure out it should go to sleep automatically if you have it setup in windows to turn off monitor after x number of inactivity minutes. Or if it senses no input.
Not sure if the same rule applies for this gen, But isn't there a rule against scalping on here. Even if you bought it at scalping prices, I'm not sure you are able to sell it here for above MSRP. But I'm not 100% on this rule.
Some of us don't want a TV as a monitor. Features like going to sleep, DP, PBP are must for some of us. Other than that I would have been had a TV as my monitor. Not an OLED one though.
Fair or not, a substantial number of Americans will not buy a brand that is entirely Chinese. Especially if that brand is not well known outside of China. For the record I am not one of those.
A digital signal is a digital signal from PC to USB DAC. Without switching out the monitor speakers, you won't notice any better quality of sound by changing USB DAC. Especially since you already are using balanced cables.
Maybe but I believe it's more of "custom water cooling" is too expensive crowd that shouts down WC IMO. Although if you're in the market for a 4090, I'm not sure you would be in that too expensive to justify crowd.
Unless it's the water cooled one, Highly doubtfull. The max GPU length that case can accommodate is 330 mm. Most of MSI cards are longer than that by at least 5-6 mm.
I often wonder who actually buys for literally thousands above retail pricing. I mean how compulsive and irresponsible do you have to be to do that. I mean it's not like a collection item or some super rare item.
You clearly are not into water cooling. Those like me who are, prefer the founders cards because there typically is much wider availability of water blocks for them. And with WC, no need to worry about noisy fans.
This is the very reason I will never again get a Motorola phone. Had one years ago and got holding the bag when I found out their software updates are one of the worst.
