I’m running DLS quality at 4K with a 3080 and it seems to running great, not seeing any of the smearing being mentioned. HDR looks awesome in this game too. About an hour in and really happy with it so far.
I agree with you. But how nice would it be if we got a game these days that was void of all the current modern audience bullshit.
Give me a fucking violent slasher with some jiggle physics sprinkled in. We’re here to play goddamnit.
Damn everyone beat me to it but yep, King’s quest and Space quest, also really liked Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist. Started shooters with Wolfenstein, kicked up a lot though with Half Life, Counter Strike, and UT99.
The only thing I don’t like about the Razer is that even though it’ll be 18”.. It. Still. Is. TKL
Like, why.
I’m actually looking to get the Asus one depending on the pricing, I’m assuming the Razerblade will be the most expensive.
Yes! DLC was a bitch lol.
Couldn’t get into Nioh (first one) or Sekiro. Actually enjoyed Remnant: From the Ashes but only for about 40 hours. Totally burnt out on Elden Ring after my fourth playthrough. Hoping I like Wo Long: Fallen Destiny.
Yeah to me it seems like it’s the game 100%, I’ve seen similar complaints on Reddit actually. Settings make zero difference.
It’s really unfortunate, I want to experience the game but it’s entirely unplayable for me.
So, I'm trying to play DS remastered and I have a miserable "hitching" across 3 different platforms; my desktop, laptop, and steam deck. Every 30 or so seconds everything will just stop briefly and then continue, so I wouldn't call it a stutter. I've tried searching but have come up with...
Yeah but that site is pointed to by the first one and White Mask Vare tells you to follow it, it’s also directly ahead and leads right up to the path to Stormveil. Even before I had a clue I stumbled right to it.
For the spirit ashes you need the spirit calling bell, which you get from Renna...
Leveling up and spirit ashes aren’t tied to certain sites of grace, spirit ashes are selected just like any item and you can level up at any site of grace.
Melina gives you torrent at what is most likely the second site of grace you come across, you’re facing toward it, right after the first...
I'm in on day one no matter what, though I hope they delay this as long as necessary to iron everything out. This title is most certainly not one to rush.
Yeah shadows and effects are the big hitters for this one. Even with everything all the way low I get some pretty crappy framerates in some areas =(
May see how it runs on the Steam Deck.
Edit: Actually it seems to be running much better for me after switching to full screen mode, had to turn...
So I just picked this up on the Steam sale, liking what I'm seeing so far but I'm getting some pretty bad framerate drops in many areas with my 3080 at 4k, and I really don't see any reason for it. Graphics are very eh in this title, the face animations are particularly painful to watch.
I picked up Nioh: Complete Edition and Remnant: From the Ashes, thinking about buying Nioh 2 but will probably wait for the next sale after playing these two.
The only reason I'd maybe play again is to pick Yen for once. That's been my plan a couple times but soon as I see Triss in that green dress it's a wrap.
I pay little to no attention to the politics of the gaming world. Just saying I’d much rather play the successor to Phantom Pain. Death Stranding is an interesting concept but definitely a one and done for me.
Thought I read something about it. Oh well, may try the pvp arena once or twice to give it a whirl but I'm certain it won't be my thing. Definitely looking forward to any all updates and dlc though =D
I loved this game at first but it quickly became woefully unbalanced. The challenges and bosses are incredibly difficult, souls like even, no joke, and the regular enemies are total pushovers.
The puzzles are great and so are the environments and characters, it just really needs a rebalance...
