I'd say it was the combination of: Doom 2, Dwango, and local BBS's. Utilizing the above over a 28.8 modem, I was able to download wads/map editors & play Doom 2 with 4 total players.. Dwango was so ahead of it's time.... and BBS's were on their way out but it was better than paying per minute...

I was in 8th grade when Tetrisphere came out... So I would've been 14 heh But yeah, there is def a preliminary learning curve to the game.. Outside of Wipeout on PSX, it EASILY had one of the best soundtracks for its time (esp for a cartridge game) EDIT: Speaking of flawed puzzle games...

F this updated version. Due to the new launcher, I can't even load a fresh install of "classic" and have all the usual/typical mods work. I have to launch the game from Mod Manager every time to get HDRP.... Can anyone confirm GOG has the 1.32 version downloadable offline without Redlauncher...

I reinstalled from scratch using the update & DX12. Ehhhhh... at DX12 1080p FSR2 Quality with dynamic resolution scaling ON (and obv no RTX) - Ultra+ looks better but the fps is lingering in the high 50's around Novigrad. And whether Gsync On and Vsync on or off, there are still some weird...

It should've been a separate install like Skyrim: Special Edition .... At least, that's what I expected to happen :(

FYI, in the games Steam properties you can select Beta: Classic 1.32 to roll-back.... Which I did, but it still somehow managed to break my mods :( Sooooo I straight up uninstalled and guess I'll wait a couple months for CDPR to sort this nonsense out
