I installed a OpenVPN Server on my router. I can securely remotely reach it with a OpenVPN client on my devices (iPhone and Laptop)

In my case (Laptop with optimus GTX 1060), when I load MSI afterburner (might be same issue with other software like GPU-Z), the discrete GPU show signs of activity. Shutting down MSI Afterburber resolve the issue. Note that MSI Afterburner does not officially (and never will ) support laptop...

Been using FreeNAS for years. Few issues really. Forum useful to help fix them. No show stopper. ZFS is a big plus with the right hardware. I also run jails with urbackup, minidlna, plex and qbittorent. Love it. If your issue has to to with SMB, forum member / staff Anodos is of great value.

Undervolting will allow for lower voltage (sure you figured this out!) for the same clock thus reducing heat and lower fan. Like Steve Jobs would have said : it's magic!

undervolting if done right will reduce watts = power. Read this thread from start. This enables you to get same or more performance @ lower voltage and of course lower temperature and noise. And it reduce the possibility to reach power limit of your card.

I used to be a major fan fo the G700S like you. Switched to the G604. Love the mouse. Very long battery like. Lot's of buttons. The new mandatory GHub is a major pain though. Getting used to it ...

Costs will most likely stabilize instead for going down like they did lately. I just bought a Corsair MP510 1TB for a great price (Canadian...). I don't care for pci 4. Performs great. Samsung's are great but to costly for my taste.
