yeah go for 2. I used 1 on my Vega 64 forever with no issues. My 6800xt uses two now, but only because they are custom length and look better. I don't think using one will hurt, but if you want to feel safe, use 2.

it comes tuesday now, it would have been yesterday but the weather got in the way. im space limited and a 4080 wont fit. regardless of all the bad press the xtx is getting, i look forward to tinkering.

Ok, I see the edit now. So with that said, try to flash to an older version bios, I don't think that board has bios flash back. So put the old CPU in then go to an older bios. Maybe 5.10. I had an ASRock board that wouldn't work on a new bios and had to go back one. Maybe once you get the 5600...

Ya Lian Li still has some decent steel cases, but nothing as prestigious as their older aluminum cases. If you want more aluminum cases you'll have to look at jonsbo, or more niche sff cases. I still have a few Lian Li cases.

Unless you are going sub zero. Most liquid coolers will perform the same on am5. Get what you can reasonably afford. It's going to hit 95c no matter what if you are hammering it at 100%. If you are doing light tasks using curve optimizer with a negative offset will help some.

AMD has a built in "DDU" tool if you will. They recommend you use that. C:\Program Files\AMD\CIM\Bin64\AMDCleanupUtility.exe This way you dont have to keep updating DDU for driver support.

DDR5 6000 is the speed you want to be at.
