ZOTAC Gaming GeForce® RTX 2080 Ti AMP REFURB $809.99

It is tempting. I can probably get $400-$450, locally, for my 1080 Ti. Then, it would be $430 - $480 more to jump up to this, after sales tax. Though, I've only been playing with my Oculus Rift S lately, and even with 1.5x SS on most games, I'm only hitting around 80-85% max usage on my GPU...

    Asrock rebates

You know what, I remember about a year ago submitting a rebate that was around 2 days late for making the postmark date. I submitted it anyways, and put a $1 bill inside the envelope. It was for a cheap $15 - $20 rebate. Sure enough, a couple of months later I got the check in the mail. You...

    Asrock rebates

I did an ASRock rebate ($20) a few months ago for a Fatality B450. I got a paper check back within 10 days. I can never recall getting a rebate back so quickly in my life. I know that doesn't answer your question, but I just figured I'd share!

    [H]OT - Microcenter AMD sale (2600x - 79.99, 3600x - 159.99, 3700x - 259.99, 3800x - 279.99, 3950x - 699.99) + $20 mobo discount!

That 2600X is an unreal deal. People thought the 1600AF was a bargain.

100% they'll refund you the difference. Their customer service is top-notch. Worst case, tell them you're just going to return the used one, and buy a new one. I doubt they'll want you to do that.

    Ryzen 4000 series release date?

I haven't heard much lately about the release of the 4000 series processors (would like to get a 4600). I remember reading about an early 2020 release, but that was a few months ago. Has there been any updates as to when they speculate AMD is going to release the next batch? I'm itching to...

    Micro Center 2700X - $139, 3600 - $149 (In-store only)

LoL, so true! I check their open box inventory quite often. We haven't had any decent mobo or video card deals in a loooong time at our MC. I used to find awesome deals almost weekly, but nothing any more. I wonder if they changed their RTV policy.

    Micro Center 2700X - $139, 3600 - $149 (In-store only)

How to ship a 7820X without original box?

This doesn't have pins, which is a plus. I just don't want to ship a $300+ CPU in something that doesn't look right. I was thinking an anti-static bag surrounded by bubble wrap, just like you mentioned. I'm glad that's been done before!

How to ship a 7820X without original box?

Looking to sell my 7820X on ebay but I can't, for the life of me, find the original box. I have a few empty AM4 boxes, but the 7820X is a larger chip and won't fit in the plastic tray. Any ideas of a safe way to ship it that aren't ghetto? I appreciate it.

    AMD Ryzen 5 1500X - $69 @ Amazon

It depends on how much you can recoup by selling your 4770 combo. I think you could probably break even, or even pocket a few dollars, with how much crazy people pay for these old Intel parts.

    AMD Ryzen 5 1500X - $69 @ Amazon

The 1600 is a damn good CPU. I've built multiple PC's with them for friends and family, thanks to Micro Center selling them for $79 with $30 off a motherboard. For $120, on average, for a 1600 and B450 motherboard after bundle discount (now only $20 off), it's probably the best CPU deal ever. 6...

Patriot Viper M.2 $30 less than Samsung 970 EVO plus

It seems SSD prices are slowly climbing up. I picked up a 500GB SATA EVO 860 last week for $59.99. Everyone had it for that price. Now, it's up to $69.99. I also picked up the aforementioned Inland 1TB NVMe for $99 a few days ago. Now, it's up to $109. Anyone else noticing this trend?

Micro Center Intel CPU prices have SKYROCKETED!

Well, I went there and the motherboard didn't have all the accessories (listing said complete) such as the wifi antenna. The manager came over and said how about I knock another $20 off? Sure! So, I walked out with it for $30. Not bad! I spoke to the guys in the BYOPC department and they said...

Micro Center Intel CPU prices have SKYROCKETED!

What enticed me is they had an open box ASUS Strix Z370 mini itx motherboard (around $180 new) for $50. I added it to my cart and set it for in-store pickup. Perfect, a good mini itx board. I'll pair it with the i3-9100...nope. Yesterday, it was $119.99 with $20 off a motherboard. Today, $20...

Any AMD motherboards with Dual Link DVI onboard? SOB!!!

My faithful 2500k system died on me, which I was using as a family room PC. This PC is used for web browsing, e-mail, you know, basic crap. Ryzen 3700x $280 - Microcenter

I picked up a 3600X recently on sale for $199 and haven't taken it out of the box yet. This is for my 21:9 1440p 100hz gaming computer that I also do a lot of Rift S with. Currently running a Ryzen 1600. I'm tempted to return the 3600X and pony up $80 more for the 3700X, but I don't know. I...

Ryzen 3600X RAM: 3600 mhz CL 16 or CL 18?

I'm putting together a 3600X system with a 1080Ti for VR gaming. I only need to buy RAM now and everything I've read says to get 3600mhz for this chip. The price difference from CL 16 to CL 18 is quite large, so is it worth it? Or, should I just get the cheaper CL 18?
  36. M

A man walks up to you with a 1080Ti and a 5700XT and says, "Free. Choose one."

1080 Ti. I actually own both, and just love my 1080 Ti. Though, I haven't used the 5700 XT much (got it last week for HTPC gaming PC) the 1080 Ti has served me very well these last few years.
