    StoreMI Upgrade / BSOD Solution?

Hi All -- I'm looking for some recommendations on what I should be looking at to resolve this BSOD issue I've got. Below is the background, as well as the options I'm considering. Background: I built a 2700X-based PC a few years ago that's run like a champ until recently, when I started getting...

    The Router Recommendations Thread (Consumer)

Looking at the various TP Link routers as an upgrade... On Amazon I can get the C7 for $90, the C8 for 110, and the C9 for $130. This would be for an apartment that usually has 3 computers connected, 3-4 cell phones, a NAS box, and a smartTV streaming Netflix. The old, simple g router...

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

I'm using a DVI cable. Think I should get a displayport cable and give that a shot? I've got a glossy version. Edit: Is this the cable you're recommending?

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

Anyone ever solve this issue? This seems to happen to me once or twice a week, except turning the monitor off and on doesn't solve it. I just usually have to wait 10-15 minutes and everything comes back up like normal. Power supply issue? Do I need to get the monitor serviced? Maybe hope for new...

ASUS Z77 Motherboards - Official Support Thread

I'm having a weird network issue with my P8Z77-V Pro. Every time I reboot, my computer doesn't see the Intel NIC (I think it's "failed to start, code 10"). It sees the WiFi fine, just not the wired connection. If I reinstall the Intel Driver (latest ProWinx64 from Intel website), the NIC pops...

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

I just bit on this on a semi-whim as I was picking up some stuff at Microcenter. Haven't gotten back to my desktop to check it out, but I do have a question -- can I get full resolution off of an HDMI cable, or do I need to use the DVI cable?

    Blu Ray Burners

I don't think you understand what kind of data we're talking about. I can shoot 8 GB of photos in a couple hours. When I take a trip I usually come back with 12-24 GB of photos. If there's a free backup website that handles that, by all means! I also don't know what you mean by the type of...

Hmm --- so maybe I don't need the software. I want the burner so I can store photos on BD instead of DVD. I've got a 55" TV that I'll use when I want to watch movies :)

    Blu Ray Burners

Not sure if there's a better place for this thread, so I'm posting here... Working on a new build and considering including a Blu Ray Burner instead of just a BR drive... anything specific I should be considering? I was honestly just gonna pick the cheapest BR burner for sale, but are there...

This sounds pretty similar to the build I'm putting together right now. I have the advantage of paitence, so I'm kinda buying things as the come on sale, but this is what I'm looking at for me: i5 3570k: $230.00 ( Note: you can get this for $170 at MC) Asus P8Z77-V: $179.00 ( Note: you can...

    Staples Kingston HyperX 3k SSD: 90GB=$60, 120GB=$65, , 240GB=$150

Fractal Arc Midi $59.99 + FS @ newegg

I ended up biting -- $60 was the "buy" point I had, and it looks like a solid case. I'm also a fan of the video walk thrus that Newegg does... that was really nice. My new build now has a case, PSU, and RAM. I'll have a CPU and mobo when I hit up Microcenter next weekend, so I'm almost there!

    Mid Range Z77 Board Options

I've looked but I can't really see much of a spec different between the -V and -V PRO boards... I'd be happy to save the $10 if there's not much of an upgrade. I don't see the UP5-TH on Microcenter's website...

    Newegg.com Deals 11/15

Anyone familiar with the G.Skill RAM? What are the odds that it would run at more reasonable timings (like 9-9-9-24) at DDR31600 speeds? And for the 660Ti... any thoughts? I was leaning towards a 7950 for my new build, but saving $50 is tempting....

I only see a $25 IR, not a $30 IR on the Mushkin SSD. Anyone know how reliable the Mushkin SSDs are? A lot of interesting deals here -- anyone have any thoughts on the EVGA 660 Ti (comparison to the recent 7950 deals that have been floating around for a bit more?)

The RTS Test: Supreme Commander 1066 vs 1333 vs 1600 vs 1866 vs 2133 Mhz RAM on Z77

I agree with this question -- if I was going to critique the OP, I'd say that you complained about synthetic benchmarks and then made yourself a synthetic benchmark. You've shown that there is a difference in RAM speeds -- but I think the real question is whether or not that difference...

    patriot viper series 8gb ddr3 $25.99 shipped

Yeah, any thoughts on this RAM? I was also looking at this G.Skill 16GB set for $69. Any pros/cons to going with 2x8GB vs. 4x4GB, aside from leaving yourself more room with only 2 sticks?
