    God of War: Ragnarök

Spot on. GOTY no question for me. I'm quite optimistic about this series and its future, too. If you are waiting for the PC version of this I would certainly say PLEASE get the first game on the PC ASAP and enjoy it.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla

I'm looking forward to getting into it. This has been a fantastic ride all told for me.
  3. Q

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Valhalla's combat is a bit clunky in the early goings but once you get some skills and abilities opened up and get some timing down you will dance and fly no worries.

    Fallout 4

Oh son of a... don't tempt me to install and play this AGAIN. ;)
  5. Q

    Destiny 2

Dang. I have to agree with him. Obviously, I still play it and get what I want out of it but I think he's spot on myself. Fair

    God of War: Ragnarök

^^ I know what you all are talking about and for me, they are friggin' tough even if I turn the difficulty way down. "Git gud"....fine, fine.... they are still tough and the Valkyries were tough as hell for me in the first game.
  7. Q

    God of War: Ragnarök

    GOTY for me.
  8. Q

    Gotham Knights

This game really could have and should have been more. This is a missed opportunity. That's far and away my takeaway taking all of it in. (This thread and beyond.)
  9. Q

    God of War: Ragnarök

Certain side quests have notoriously harder bosses but overall pretty balanced. Pick the right difficulty for yourself and once you get some timing for blocks down, get some of your abilities down, and let your companions light it up for you, you will be ok at least 9/10 times. Auto saves are...

    God of War: Ragnarök

Some annoying boss-itis in this game like its predecessor. Be sure you have lots of saves.
  11. Q

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla

This is an awesome game overall. It's benefitted quite a bit over time with lots of robust support.
  12. Q

    Gotham Knights

The consensus I'm gathering here and abroad seems to be a bit of a letdown but decent game. $25 Steam sale fodder? Is that what we are talking about here?
  13. Q

    God of War: Ragnarök

Impressive user options in the menus. Comprehensive. As good as it gets. I just started playing it last night and so far so good. As I typically do I choose "prefer performance" and go on my merry way. I'm very happy with it.
  14. Q

    God of War: Ragnarök

I'm all in. I'm not expecting shock and awe but I am expecting something pretty solid as a big fan of the first game. I am confident. :)

    God of War: Ragnarök

https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2022/11/god-of-war-ragnarok-review-a-scattered-but-strong-sequel/ I think this more or less jives with what a lot of us expect.

    Sackboy: A Big Adventure

This makes me sad. They did a beautiful job on this game but as others have said: It needed some kind of promotion and $60 for any game that's been out for a couple of years give or take already is frankly asking a lot. $50 base MSRP on Uncharted at least gives you two full games...
  17. Q

    Gotham Knights

All indicators seem to say that this could have/should have been more. I wanted to get this. Maybe when it's on sale or something.

    Need for Speed Unbound

Me, too. I will also echo the love for Burnout 3.
  19. Q

No Man's Sky - a procedurally generated sand box space exploration game

They have more than earned good will and support. The ultimate come back/Cinderella story in videogaming best that I'm aware of.
  20. Q

    Gotham Knights

Similarities and differences together: I'm a fan of the Arkham games and the Spiderman games so I am fairly confident I will be happy with this, too. Yes, my RTX380 is also locked and loaded. ;)
  21. Q

    Ghost of Tsushima

After all its updates people can dial in this game just about any way they want. They even added different control schemes. I still think this game is one of the best of its kind in the last several years. That doesn't mean it's original... what is, really?...but it just executes it REALLY...

    Herman Miller Embody

https://atlasheadrest.com/ They are working on a headrest for the Embody. Herman Miller people basically formed this company. You might want to keep an eye on it.

EVGA will no longer do business with NVIDIA

    Terrible news.
  24. Q

    Destiny 2

Quite a bit has happened since you last played so definitely yes.
  25. Q

    Herman Miller Embody

The only thing that makes me take a pause on an Aeron is the seat itself and that front lip. I'm 5'7 if I'm being generous. 175 lbs. I have run into complaints that it can be stiff and "cut" into the back of your leg and be uncomfortable for some. I find myself going around in the...
  26. Q

    Destiny 2

I've been enjoying Season of the Plunder. He's not kidding. Others have noticed it, too. Bring Wish Ender out of mothballs. Think "almost" Arbalest with unlimited ammo.
  27. Q

    Deathloop (Arkane Studios)

All of this is accurate. Mooncrash does do "Deathloop" better, too.
  28. Q

    Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered (PC)

I highly recommend these games. Yes, Miles is essentially an expansion pack or a robust DLC.
  29. Q

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla

    It's decent.
  30. Q

    Destiny 2

https://www.bungie.net/en-us/Explore/Detail/News/51511 Some adjustments, boosts, nerfs. Ghally nerf was probably inevitable but a real bummer.

    Red Dead Redemption 2

New Game+ would be awesome. I know they have supported the online a lot but
  33. Q

    Sniper Elite 5

I finished my first campaign run the other day. I'm happy with this. Some of the locations are pretty impressive. I thought the spy academy area was downright gorgeous in parts.
  34. Q

    Redfall (Arkane Studios)

I'm very sadly forced to concede this point. I'm not feeling this thing at all so far. Not a bit.
  35. Q

    Starfield

I'm cautiously optimistic but we will see. I am pretty taken aback by how much they flat out ripped off of No Man's Sky. I guess imitation is the best form of flattery. If I can get "Fallout/No Man's Sky hybrid in space" with *relatively* few issues from Bugthesda then that's good enough for...
  36. Q

    God of War: Ragnarök

Seeing reports they are shooting hard to get this out this coming November although there is a "2023 delay" still floating.
  37. Q

    Fallout 76

Fallout 4 on easier difficulties should have been do-able for you. I can always recommend Nexus Mods to put you over the top. I don't care much for a lot of those aspects either. If you though 4 was tough then you can forget trying 76 because those aspects are emphasized even more which, for...

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire premieres June 25

Easy decision for fence sitters at this point.
  39. Q

    Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered (PC)

    Very solid games.
  40. Q

    Sniper Elite 5

I'm digging it. So far things look great, run great, and if you have played these games you know what to expect.
