In the current environment, if someone like myself has a 4 year old gaming machine that still works very well do you jump the gun on a new build with the assumption that I'm going to wait much longer to get parts vs "normal times?" (It took us several months to get a microwave for example.)...
I'm trying to backtrace a new problem on my machine as of late.
The recent hardware change is an EVGA RTX3080 XC3. The latest driver for Cyberpunk is installed. This happened once on the driver previous to it. I don't know if it's the video card doing this or not but the machine itself is...

The release date is today apparently.
This post will probably be pretty simple for everyone. ;)
Here is what I own and much to my shock I'm coming up on five years of age. I'm going to pick my spot here pretty soon and replace/upgrade before I have a rude surprise.
Router: NETGEAR Nighthawk Smart WiFi Router (R7000) - AC1900...
I wanted to make a separate thread for this issue to see if there any other ideas or at least consensus before I go through the RMA process with ASUS under warranty.
This is the issue:
Yesterday morning out of nowhere the monitor showed (and still does) athin green line going up and down...
PC, PS4, XB1, platforms by September if plans hold.
This has my attention...
It's a growing issue where people are trying to log into their account and it says the account was accessed somewhere else and you are logged out and can't get in.
Logging in the Ubisoft website works just fine. No signs of hijacking.
Note spike and...
The last couple of weeks I've been on a new machine with Windows 10 and DX12 capable hardware (G-sync 4k and the works) and I've been sailing along nicely until tonight.
I am doing a New Game+ and set the game to DX12 and dialed in the settings until I was getting close to 60fps according to...
No Ken Levine is a potential concern. Hope this ends up being good.
GOG or Steam.
The PC version is apparently finally ready after quality control delay.
I did try and search for a previous thread and it just didn't come up for me.
This is no-brainer buy for me. Great series.
If you like these kinds of games then don't miss Ni No Kuni 2 either. :)
It sounds like an April Fools doesn't it? It just showed up today. The clock keeps "losing time" on me.
I almost could have posted this in the motherboard forum but for now maybe I'll get lucky on the software side:
OS: Win 7 60 Pro
NVIDIA Expects 4K 144 Hz G-Sync HDR Displays to Launch in April
Next month? In April? I'll believe it when I see it. Hold on to your hats for the pricing.
I received an email presumably from Valve but not 100 percent sure so of course I'm not clicking on anything or doing anything. No idea what to make of it.
Here's what it says:
I did not request this query so I'm "ignoring" it but I am going to scour any and all security right now. I'm...
This will not be an exciting high end home theater thread but I need some help. :)
I'm trying to get a setup going for my mother so this needs to be real nice and easy.
Reliable auto switching needs to happen.
This is the TV I'm working with...
I just want to make sure of what I'm doing here. I'm getting this for PC use.
What are the differences between this:
Item number: 7MN-00001
this newer one...
No PC beta. PS4 and XB1 beta Jan. 18-21.
My interest level is starting to go up.
The mobile hotspot would likely be a Verizon Jetpack, for example. (A shame these don't have ethernet ports on them)
I wouldn't mind having this option potentially as an "emergency backup" during any outages. It's definitely one of those "bonus ideas." ;)
What would it take?
Will be be shown at the forthcoming CES.
Mostly sold right there.
Just that alone stopped me dead in my tracks and put this game on my radar. Read the rest of it, too. ;)
^^ I can't believe I didn't see that thread yesterday. If the mods want to lock this as a duplicate or delete I totally understand...
I figured it was a given we wouldn't see any new games from them for the rest of this decade and this all but confirms it.
^^ What I read in...
This came out of nowhere and I will definitely be voting with my wallet and buying it. I hope it starts a trend.

This paints an ugly picture.
The rumor seems to have a decent amount of heat on it so better than 50/50 they show "something" at E3 in regards to this long discussed new IP.
Grain of salt for now but this is an interesting concept if it's even remotely accurate along with VR for Skryim and Fallout 4...
Any intel, interest, feedback on pre-release Early Access versions...
I have been wondering what these developers were up to. Piranha Bytes is responsible for the Gothic and Risen games for those of you who may not know.
I had never heard of it until I saw a GOG email mentioning it with a preorder option already up. Steam is also going to carry it...
I'm a little stumped by this. Twice in a week's time thereabouts I've had this with BSOD code 1a hit me.
The first time happened in a videogame. The...
This is still one of the best games of its kind, of all time.
Vote with your wallet and hope and pray someone, somewhere gives us a part 5 either officially or unofficially.
We need more games like these. C'mon Indies... c'mon...
