That soar ability is OP. I haven't done much with it but I think it will make moving around the world amazing.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang hints at ‘exciting’ next-generation GPU update on September 20th Tuesday

I'm not saying you are wrong but don't discount the idea people doing something just because. Maybe they just really hate nvidia and want to show what we could have had if it hadn't been for nvidia. Doesn't have to be a business reason behind it. Could be all the above, keeps their name out...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

You can turn down the difficulty during the game and can fine tune things if it is too easy or too hard. It is very customizable. You could make the mobs hit for less, crit less for example, use more spells, etc.

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

If you are the type to replay games this one has a lot of replay potential with the mythic paths. I got a bit tired of it after playing three characters on release. I'm now playing a fourth and have a fifth planned. I used to replay Baldur's Gate every couple years. I see this game being a...

    World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

I think there is a little desperation but this is also just good marketing. Desperation in my mind would see them doing more. Like not having a time limit on this gift, more in game items added to the preorders, sales, other perks to get people to come back. This preorder isn't really different...

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Starfield

The only mod I downloaded for my first playthroughs was the mod to use more ram. I still remember it because I was annoyed that I had to do that for multiple Bethesda releases and was baffled the devs hadn't done it themselves. Otherwise I was able to play and finish their early games with only...

    WoW: 9th expansion; Dragonflight

I'm actually more optimistic at this point. The few channels I follow about WoW have mostly positive things to say about the alpha so far, after being critical of Blizzard for years. The customization options for the dracthyr are impressive, but that isn't a feature that would bring me back. I'm...

What Game or Series would you like to see brought back to Life this Year?

Silent Storm, WW2 turned based tactical game. Buggy game but the physics in the game were amazing. I can't think of a game in that genre that has done as well with the bullet physics. Another vote for Tribes, sequels did nothing for me. VtM Bloodlines sequel would be great as well.

    V Rising

Was planning to wait for this to be out of early access but kept seeing people talk about it. Moddable and you can have your own dedicated server which is always nice. Over 1 million sales for the game and they appear to have plans for more content. Well worth the 20 bucks for me.

    transient power consumption spikes

You don't It may not be something new but it does seem to be something that is happening more often and there is a potential it could be a bigger problem in the future. I happen to like when channels like this buy the equipment and do research into these things. I don't have the time or money...

    WoW: 9th expansion; Dragonflight

Yeah it is pricey. I was thinking about the pre-order for the mount, pets, and boost. However, it looks like I need to also buy Shadowlands if I want the pre-order. I really don't want to buy Shadowlands. Waiting until I hear more about the beta before I decide.

    WoW: 9th expansion; Dragonflight

Blizzard has 26 million monthly active users. That includes all their games not just WoW. They don't talk about sub numbers anymore. "Monthly Active User (“MAU”) Definition: We monitor MAUs as a key measure of the overall size of our user base. MAUs are the number of individuals who accessed a...

    WoW: 9th expansion; Dragonflight

Left after Legion. Will have to see how it goes between now and release but I'm interested so far. First thought on the talent tree was we have come full circle and are going back to classic. Not the same of course but close enough.

Hope the companion AI is improved. I feel like in any Bethesda game the companions always move in between me and a target right as shoot or unleash a spell.

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire premieres June 25

I don't know it kind of amuses me to come in here and see the same people making the same arguments every few weeks. This thread is like groundhog day. On a different note. For those who are using mods, how are the mods? Do the break every patch? Do they offer enough mods to warrant a replay...

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire premieres June 25

I don't think many here were saying it was bug free on the pc. I played for about 200 hours on a six year old system with a 1080. I never saw a T pose in my game and pretty sure that was fixed in the first or second patch. I don't deny those things happened but the majority of the problems like...

Activision Blizzard agrees to pay $18 million to settle EEOC probe

They may settle this one but the company is under investigation by other groups as well. Sounds like the investors are pissed off because blizzard didn't disclose to them they were being investigated. Guess that is a requirement. So they complained and the SEC is investigating. So they are not...

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire premieres June 25

While I'm glad they are patching it I had the game set to not update. After seeing it start a 50 gig download I've uninstalled it. I enjoyed the game but at this rate it will be another year or two before there is enough new content for a replay.

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

About ten hours in and enjoying it a lot. I really really like that I can switch between turn based combat and real time with pause. I've always had a slight preference for turn based but that never stopped me from enjoying real time with pause games. Being able to switch between them with a...

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire premieres June 25

There have been some amazing mod content put out over the years. You would think someone who had that much passion and know how to work on something for the fun of it and usually for free would be someone both fans and devs would want on the team. I wish it would happen more often.

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

I must have spent a good 40 hours over the last few weeks watching various channels about different classes and paths. So many choices! I'm still not sure what I'm going to play first. I'll probably spend hours in the character generator. Really hope it is a smooth launch.

Is 2021 a dud for gaming?

I haven't bought much this year. I'm looking forward to the new Pathfinder game and hopefully the new SWTOR expansion is good. Not much else I've found interesting this year.

    Frostpunk 2

I liked the first one but felt they could have done a lot more with it. More scenarios, more paths, a new map to combine all the DLC additions etc. I wish the endurance games would ramp up their difficulty over time. Bascially I want more of everything, so I'll be keeping an eye on this.

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Glad to hear kingdom management is improved. Majority of the time I play through a game with no mods then play again with mods. But the kingdom management and the map navigation speed in the first game were painful enough that I went looking for mods after a few days playing.

Baldurs Gate 3 - Official Discussion Thread (2019)

It's a beta test. Every company runs them a little differently. The early access gets them feedback from fans and helps them find the bugs. Hopefully we get a more polished game on release. For this one you only have access to Act one out of probably three acts. Things change, new content gets...

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire premieres June 25

These were some of the most disappointing parts of the game, for me. Crafting felt unfinished. There just wasn't enough to craft or variations of things to craft. Gear I would have loved to see more like Star Wars The Old Republic. The gear only affected your characters looks and the mods...

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire premieres June 25

There are missions you can come across that don't have map markers to start them. I've found a few that start once you pick up a shard. Another I just stumbled across when I opened a garage door trying to find the entrance to a shop. Had to interact with things in the garage before the missions...

Seems like a lot of work to get some money. I just use cyber engine tweaks and open the console and give myself eddies. I played my first game with no mods or cheats. After that anything goes. I've just used it to give myself cash so far but you can do more. I've mainly done that just so I can...

I've used cybertweak for my second character, corpo, tech, hacker, cheated in some starting eddies but that has been it. Everything was so easy at 43 on normal I just ended it. Here is my nomad, no cheats for him. Started with focus on assault rifles and moved to sneaking around sniping...

I was looking for a legendary hat of some sort and was very disappointed in what was out there. Hats are the worst but they need more recipes/items that look good and are useful. I used a Samurai cap you can buy from a vendor for most of the game. It was blue and only had one slot but it looked...

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire premieres June 25

My nomad rode off into the dust storm with a certain lady. I finished at 80 hours. Was level 43 by the end and nothing could stand against me on normal. Had a few places I avoided around level 30 but otherwise things were never difficult. In normal at least there is no high end content. Almost...

Game of the Year 2020 your opinion

I don't often buy new games anymore. I usually wait for sales. Most of my purchases this year were DLC and expansions. Only bought three games released this year. Cyberpunk 2077, Wasteland 3, and XCOM Chimera Squad. Cyberpunk 2077 even with the bugs, on a pc, captures my attention and I loose...
