It was somewhat the same thing when the 30 series was new too. They must be overestimating the European market.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022)

I've had some fun experiences playing DMZ with some friends. The NPC interactions are OK, but the real fun is when you're extracting and run into other players. The three of us pulled up in an armored vehicle to an extraction in progress and I unloaded on them with a machine gun from the...

    You're Most Anticipated 2023 Games

I am most anticipated games of 2023. Stormgate is by far my most anticipated game. I'm not sure it's actually supposed to come out in 2023 though. Also excited for Starfield.

GPU prices — is the worst behind us ?

1080 ti is a great card. I also still use a 1080ti... Because my 3090 can't fit in my tower with my 4090. And I need to be able to run 8 screens. I actually used to use a 650 to run my extra displays, but it's so old the drivers needed for the 4090 don't work with the 650.

Microsoft is turning Windows 11's Start Menu into an advertisement delivery system

Don't buy your phone from a carrier, buy from Amazon or something. I've done this for the past 10 years or so and it's so much better not having any of that crap on there.

Not that I know of. All of using receivers with our PC have wished for ARC support for a long time and it's never been supported by NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel.

Logitech G604 for $39.99 at Amazon and Best Buy

I've never tried outside of warrenty. It's always been painless for me. Back a long time ago I would call in and they would just say ok and send me a new one without having to send the old ones. Then I would fix the the broken mice by bending the metal back on the switches. They've since...

Logitech G604 for $39.99 at Amazon and Best Buy

They always replace them for free for me. I just ask, no need to be sneaky. The g502 has optical switches so that won't happen. It's what they will put in all their future high end models.

Voice Assistants Dying, Alexa $10 Billion Loss Expected in 2022

You sound like one of those people that refused to get a smartphone. I don't want a standalone voice assistant or cameras always listening and watching me in my home, but it's going to be the norm because the convenience it will offer will eventually outweigh the privacy concerns for most...

    LG 48CX

You're not really supposed to use any cleaners on screens. Just use a dry micro fiber cloth, if it's still dirty get it a little damp and wipe off any spots, then go back to a dry microfiber cloth. I've heard people say X cleaner is fine to use on screens, but I've never had anything on a...

LG quietly launches 27" OLED monitor with 240hz refresh rate

It was a phone autocorrect typo, I meant to type or not of. This is a $1000 240hz OLED monitor, not a $100 generic LCD. The analogy makes perfect sense. OLEDs are the highest end monitors designed for maximum performance. Not practicality, not maximum value and longevity. If you can't be...

Driving a Bugatti Chiron or any other low clearance sports car on a dirt road is a user error that will get your car stuck and damaged. You can do it without any worries with just about any other car, but you also can't drive 200 mph on track.

Anyone know what Herman Miller chair this is?

Stand alone VR head set, right now

Quest Pro is the best for standalone, and a significant step up from the Quest 2 in image quality, but it's also a significant price increase. The lenses make a massive difference. If you play a ton of VR and can afford it I would say go for the Pro, but if you don't play that much and...

That's good for you. I personally can't stand watching anything with pull down frame rate compensation, or subpar resolution or image quality. I bought a high end TV because I want the best possible picture quality. If you just want to do PC stuff on your TV then nothing beats an actual PC...

    HTPC - no more?

The only reason to directly connect a PC is to game or simply use a PC normally, or if your TV old or crappy. Using a PC for media consumption on a good modern smart TV is inferior to simply using the smart TV directly. My TV can stream any service in 4k hdr and Atmos surround sound...

The elusive logic of multi-display ordering
