I dont really see a reason for you to use provocative words. Intel and AMD have always out-innovated and overall became each other's benchmark. Its called competition.
What is happening now isnt anything new and has always been the case with Intel and AMD.

How do you enable 4k under windows 7? I am running it with a DP 1.2 and a 290x (latest drivers).
I did the registry hack, the pixel clock/custom resolution hacks but still no go.
The max Windows is showing me is 3200x1800.
Bought the X99M killer a few weeks after Haswell-E launch. No issues whatsoever with the board. I have the NICs teamed up. Overkill for internet but gets the job better when accessing NAS for video editing.
