how often should you run pixel refresh? my CX developed a vertical line on the right edge but pixel refresh sorted it out, didnt do anything for the dead pixels in the upper right though

when instant game responce is active a lot of picture options seem get disabled is there an easier way to switch between desktop/games usage and movies/tv than going in and deactivating instant game responce?

I had crashes in games with the .71 driver I think they went away by going back to .55 although the longest i played in one session was about 2 hours There is a new hotfix driver available

I'd agree if you said that about tomb raider or metro but the RT effects in control are extremely noticable and look fantastic

The psu i have is an Asus Rog strix 850w i ran DDU and it seems a bit better i played control for over an hour without a crash

yep i have 456.71 tried a bit of doom eternal and its even worse, ive been playing a lot of genshin impact and that doesnt crash but then the utilization is only around 60% might run ddu in the morning

not even overclocked, it crashed with a -100mhz core applied in afterburner as well

anyone else having problems with control crashing to desktop? its pretty frustrating because of its checkpoint system, not sure if its just the game or the 3080 because there seem to be a lot of complaints about control crashing

i have another weird issue since getting the 3080, if i start my pc before turning the cx on i just get no signal my friend said his cx got an update yesterday so they are rolling the firmware out to uk users, pretty annoying since he's still waiting for his 3080

Does the screen not go black occasionally with 444/RGB? What cable do you have I can't see any that are actually certified

changed back to 4:2:0 and the flickering went away

i got a replacement 3080 and i get very occasional black screens wondering if this could be the CX firmware (VRR is off, still on 3.10.44) or ongoing issues with 30xx cards, i havnt seen it happen outside of games yet. i got the CAC-1371 cable, not much choice otherwise

I think the way ocuk have dealt with this launch is awful, there really going to keep taking people's money when they are back ordered for probably a month or more

same result with new psu and on the shops test bench. now i have no 3080 and my pc is in pieces and i need to cable manage the new psu

managed to get a 3080 but get 1 long and 4 or 5 short beeps on startup, seems to run ok though, switched back to my 1080 and its fine. could it be the psu i have 2x8 pin on one cable

Its it really important to lable the port pc like rtings says? Doesn't seem to change the available display options in windows and with it set to pc real cinema setting is unavailable and there are less options under trumotion

HZD will probably support DLSS since death stranding does, I'd have thought almost any super card could do 4k@60 with dlss

With mpc-hc and mad vr it automatically switches to hdr when playing a hdr movie although bringing up the seek bar causes it to switch back to sdr while it's on screen, still seems more convenient than keeping windows hdr enabled
