Well I too have issues going back to very old games and replay them, oldest one I can somewhat still play is quake 2. It does not help that a lot of old games were made for CRT's and look like crap on modern monitors and/or at high resolutions. When I was a kid I used to game on a 12 inch CRT TV...
Those mobo panels are mostly plastic, also you can find that other mobo maklers are taking over this trend albeit to some lesser degree. I did like the NZXT fallout mob cover for their ltd ed fallout case.
according to the article they have been working at it for 3 years and should release later this years, but according to some developpers it realisticly needs another 3 years, not surre that that timeframe works for the people fronting the money. Change the developpement to a more competent...
hmm, since it seems to be happening with both IGP and discrete GPU it's bit strange, did you try booting into safe mode? should not load drivers, see if that makes a difference.
You could also try a xlear CMOS to see if that does anything, make sure to note all changes you made b4.
Not realy, been using an old external samsung HDD as a backup drive and also a WD possport, both seem to work well enough although the Samsung is pretty slow.
For long term storage I would still go spinning rust as those seem to retain data the best over long periods of time and even if the...
How long have you waited to see if it will not boot, seen a video recently where a defective sata drive(or cable) caused a pc to boot up very slowly.
Also did you try an slighly older bios for you board to see if that fixes it.
the drive should not write to the bad sectors anymore after a format or possibly even a defrag. There is always a chance this drive could keep going as is for years to come without further issues but I would not count on it.
I don't know if you move this drive around a lot, but if the bad...
Seeing that some shops ever here still charge 1.200€ and more for RTX 3080's and up to 2.600€ for 3090Ti's i'm not surprised they don't sell, for a lot of cards there has been stock for well over a year but prices don't come donw, not everywhere anyways.
They used to have talent trees and almost everyone would play with the same spec because that was the optimal one, that's why the removed it, not sure why they want to nring it back if they can't make it a usefull addition to the game.
Mayve that's because that is enough for 90%+ of all users, for those who want more there is the HEDT segment which needs something to feel different from the mainstream. Not that I would not like more lanes but i doubt there is a lot of demand for them and the DYI market is peanuts for intel...
If you add an NVMe drive to a slot other then the one connected directly to the CPU it will go trough the chipset, unless you are connecting and using tons of devices on there at the same time you should not notice any difference in performance.
Maybe it's less important for QA testers, but having your staff go trough 6 months+ of crunch mode and hope that they bring out a decent game also seems counterproductive and is maybe a reason so many games ship bugged.
I think there is still time for that, hardware is still somewhat lacking to get a good ray tracing experiece, if they have a decent story and some other goodies like improved AI it could be pretty succesfull.
I finally got "lucky" on AMD's last drop and managed to snag a 6750XT to replace the 570 4GB card I had in my AMD machine, now to find some time to test it a bit, only got round to installing the card so far.
Not that rare, Greg Salazar had a couple bad ones in PC's he repaired for viewers, AMD's CPU's seem somewhat more fragile then others, not a ton but still a noticable amount and this new one is a whole different beast so there may be some kinks due to that too.
