Yeah, I just can't see the attraction to gaming in circus mirror concave vision, unless it has a lasting effect on my eyes and makes my wife look thinner.
Oh for fuck sake, Dell just shipped mine after I had cancelled it (or so I thought) almost 3 weeks ago.
Right after they told me it was delayed until the end of June, I cancelled vs accepting the delay. I went with the LG 38GN950 from Costco, another monitor I've been eyeing for a while...
Viewsonic writes some of the worst firmware and software I've ever seen. This has been going on for 20+ years. The interface is usually clunky and hard to navigate also, just for that cherry on top. Basically, ever since they switched from making CRTs to LCDs, it kind of just went to hell. I...
Yes, that's the feeling I get as well. I've worked with Dell for years at my job in IT, and I know when they push dates back like that, they're just guessing.
My ship date just changed to June 20 also. So much for that. I guess I don't care enough to wait indefinitely.
I'm not surprised. As soon as mine gets delayed I'm going to cancel. I don't care to tie up my money until June/July. It not like I can't live without.
I use it. The original NU Audio 2 channel card. Cleanest, clearest sound I've ever had while gaming. Great for listening to music also. I have it hooked up to a Yamaha receiver so I can do 2 channel when listening to music or Dolby Digital 5 channel for gaming.
I've never had any problems...
If you knew the price after discount on our State contract you'd shat yourself. I almost did. Alas, I can't use it for personal purchases, but goddamn, it's right there and available.
Hypothetically, if you went to your page, then went to the Shop tab dropdown, selected Dell Monitors and then All Dell Monitors and then on the page that loads, Dell monitors 26" and above, what would you see?
Unfortunately, what I see is on govt contract so all I can do is look longingly.
I go the sledge hammer route myself. Amazing how it crumples electronics. Super satisfying. You could also plug in some of the cables and use it like a ball and chain on a nice piece of cement.
Or pop the fan out, look it up online and I bet you can order it from a parts store. Swapping...
You sound like my brother. Are you, by any chance, an attorney?
Also, the jokes on you because every PSU worth buying is made by a handful of OEMs and you never know which one a retailer is going to use. They even change it up between revisions. And now, since Super Flower "Power" is off...
That's my endgame. 360 degrees of monitors on a desk I'd have to duck under to get into. Motorize my chair so I can use foot pedals to rotate. I'd feel like Neal Peart at a Rush concert playing a drum solo. The hell with VR.
No one really cares how things work, except for the enthusiasts. The rest of the population would just as soon not be told how something works, just that it works.
I knew when CPU and GPU manufacturers started auto-overclocking their products that our days were numbered. Everything on a...
It's funny, I've been on this forum for 20 years and it's always the same. It used to be LCD vs CRT. It's always something. People like to argue, especially when their technology of choice is under attack.
Here's a question, unrelated... I understand that the G-Sync Ultimate is there to...
