I believe I've been asked to do video on a few products malfunctioning the past few years (quest 2, vega64, and maybe another I can't remember)
Seems to be becoming the norm.
ti4600 had good gains, 9700pro gave fairly large increases with overclocking, so did the 5900xt, x1900AIW gave very large gains in terms of performance, hd4870 had a fair amount IIRC, 8800gt had monstrous head room, gtx460 had huge head room, hd7870 had massive headroom along with the hd7970...
I think if you do washers to increase mounting pressure and a great paste you MIGHT be able to get 10c, maybe. You're still pushing 350 watts through an OEM heatsink. The heatsink is not hard to remove on this card, give it a try.
On water at 350w my hotspot hits around 70c.
I mean I’d actually suggest scooping something like a 6700xt for ~800 and then try to find someone selling a motherboard/cpu/ddr4 for a few hundred bucks (shoot even a 3600 for $150, motherboard for 80ish and $50 for ram) This route will offer you 2080ti~ performance.
You can likely get a decent...
I agree, I think if he just spoke more naturally with better dialogue it'd be better. It almost reminds me of when you were a little kid playing with friends and one of you was trying to be the bad guy/villain.
I really like this show after the first episode. The first episode made me feel like the show was going to be a dud but quality improved.
I agree that Vicious and Julia are the weakest parts of the show.
I think Faye is actually cast really well considering how much everyone cries about her...
If the games you play/want to play support raytracing or dlss the 3080 is likely the better option.
If the games you play/want to play are not rt or dlss go AMD.
Increase memory speed. You can most likely max it out at the 2150 and have no issues.
Also your pascal likely didn’t report junction temps (I’m assuming your 50-60s temps are junction?) for reference my 6900xt on water hits 55-60c junction temps at stock clocks.
My post wasn't directed at you, it was directed at people that are angry. You say you are not angry but felt the need to respond to the post, but you're not angry, gotcha. I hope you have a good non-anger filled day doing things you enjoy.
Your posts certainly come across as more angry than “hm I’m not sure why people are interested in watching twitch”.
I also didn’t tag you, so not sure why you’re responding to a post about people getting upset over what others do with their time.
I never got interested in twitch but I’m not...
It's nearly impossible to not contaminate water. You will get growth. Both ethylene and propylene mitigate the likelihood of growth.
Distilled water might also not be the best choice for a coolant system in an engine.
The 6900xt actually is not bad at mining, the 3090 gets a bit higher MHs but it also uses a bit more power so it's sort of a wash IMO. I'm at ~150 watts for ~64mhs. The 3090 is ~200 watts for ~100mhs.
My 6900xt is making ~$4 a day right now. If you get a 6900xt for around $1600 it will take 400 days for ROI, not including electricity costs. If electric is around 10c/kwh in your area lets assume ~200 watts for system power and your cost is around .48 cents a day, so ROI is 457 days including...
I think I was lucky enough to have gotten dsl by then. Gaming on a 56k was miserable. I also had to use the junky free/cheap ISPs like netzero, bluelight etc.
