I'm disappointed it requires a power cable. I have a mini-itx case and motherboard. Would a single slot be better than a double slot card? Would a single slot card struggle more to stay cool in my cramped and crowded case?

Spec says it requires 6 pin power cable.
I want this card. Any more information on it? Was about to purchase a Sapphire 6850 for my Lian Li Q11 case but I'm worried about heat. This looks perfect.
I already had the Corsair PSU, that's why I used it.
I think it's recommended that you have a 500w or higher PSU for the 6850. It would probably work but it might strain the PSU under load. You should check the rails of that PSU.
Finished my build and that was one hell of a challenge. It was really like a puzzle having to anticipate what would block what and attaching pieces accordingly. This is a case I never want to open again lol.
Some pictures:
I did the wiring again after this picture was taken because I was...
Just got this case. Few questions. Is this front bezel on the dvd drive removable?
I noticed the USB 3.0 connectors are just regular USB cables on the end. Do I have to route the cables out of the case and into the IO of the ASUS M4A88T-I motherboard?
Yeah, it's only because I already have that PSU. I guess I'll do my best to tie them.
I thought I read in this thread somewhere that the Big Shuriken blocks the graphics card slot.
I think I'm going to do a build with this case. Do all of these parts work?

Is there new 25w or 35w dual cores coming out anytime soon? I'm thinking about switching my family members cpu to a 45w to be more energy efficient but I don't want to buy one if new 25w dual cores are in the works.
Do you guys keep the boxes and Styrofoam for your lcd's? I've had my LCD for over a year now and I still have it stored in my closet. I'm thinking of throwing it out now since the TV is out of warranty. Should I do it?
I can't wait. I think some drool just dripped from my mouth at the thought of having a 600gb SSD. When does Q4 begin, October? I hope there are price drops along with these capacity increases.
Nuts. I guess I have to decide between 320 single platter or 500gb dual platter now. :( Would single platter use significantly less power, use less heat and have more reliability?
The ratings don't look the greatest on that one. Isn't there a 1tb 2.5" laptop drive now? If that's the case does that mean single platter 500gb drives could be coming soon?
Is there any one out yet? If not can anyone recommend a specific 2.5 inch 500gb drive from the plethora that are out there? Looking for reliability, low heat, and low power consumption. Going to put it in an external for backups or media storage.
If you're in the NYC area I'm trying to sell my K62 case. It's a great case for a first timer because it's almost completely tool less. Even the motherboard standoffs can be tool less.
I just wanted to have a clear space around my laptop and not have as many wires. Maybe I get a little wire caddy under my desk and put it there. Thanks guys.
Hey all, I wanted to get a back up solution going for my laptop. I was taking a look at some dual bay external enclosures on ebay. Specifically these two:

Maybe it is my motherboard? It doesn't look like I can rotate it the retention plate. There are no holes to change the position. It's not like an Intel heatsink. It only has these grooves for the AMD clip on the top and bottom.
I installed it with the fan blowing downward.
I don't have any mods to my case. I can only orient it up or down because of the clips on the retention plate. The OCZ vendetta only has grooves in one position for the locking clip only allowing me to aim it up or down. Maybe I will use twist ties and just tie the fan on the side in a sloppy...
I have an OCZ Vendetta cooler and I can only aim it down toward the bottom of the case or up toward the graphics card. Which would be a better direction? :(
Does anyone know how many platters this has? Was about to buy the Samsung 1tb because I read it has 2 platters.
Are these drives fast? I had a 1tb green drive and the pause before opening a file was driving me nuts.
I have a first generation 64gb Patriot Warp SSD in my machine. I was wondering if there is any way to manually trim or maintain my ssd? It seems like it might be a little slower then when I first got it. I use Windows 7 64bit. Thanks.
Most of these apps keeps freezing and becoming unresponsive when I run them. That's why I quit them.
I will try the 64 bit version of recuva. That is one of the ones that froze on me.
I also tried running hdd regenerator and it froze. :(
I'm thinking of trying the freezer method. Is...
Yeah, it's finding folders but its just taking forever. The one I was using. Easeus datarecovery pro gave me an estimated completion time of 2-3 weeks. I switched the drive to Sata and I'm using the reccomended app getdataback but it still seems to be taking an eternity. This app isn't as...
