TIL, Apex Legends was built using Source Engine. Wow, I think the game looks and runs great, at least for me on at 1080p on a GTX 970. I'm really really surprised that it's Source Engine. Am I just clueless? Have the Titanfall games been Source Engine also?

I did print my confirmation. Emailed them 7 days ago with my information, got the canned response 2 days later. Followed up the same day stating that this was not satisfactory and that I wanted an update on my individual claim. No response. Sent another email again this morning. No response.

As did I. This is the same canned response they've been using for about a month. I replied that this was unacceptable and have requested additional information.

No, it's too late for them to submit a claim. Claims were due last October or November. But yeah, you are part of an elite club that got zero contact in this after submitting a claim

And the game ended up not being really close to what they showed. It was fun....for the first 30 levels and had loads of potential, but after the SP campaign, it fell flat and was/is riddled with hackers & aimbot clones.

This demo looks and sounds exactly like The Division's. And that makes me sad... :(

Except that it's not. T-Mobile's BingeOn doesn't count against your cap. AT&T's version throttles you and still counts it towards your cap.

I think the fact that they went 2560x1080 instead of 1440 is what turns me off. I'm in the market for a new monitor and would love a 34-inch IPS, but it has to have 1440 at a minimum. Sadly, all the current one's on the market appear to be riddled with issues.

With a hard cap of $300, looks like you'll be eyeing the GTX 960 from team green or a R9 290 from team red. There are a few 290X's that occasionally get down below your $300 threshold, can't speak to the brand though.

Yes, you get the 970. I bought that make/model last week. It's heaven on 1080p!

Thought I'd chime in here. I went from the GTX 560ti to a GTX 970. Couldn't be happier. Runs cooler and quieter than my 560ti. Went from 60 fps with all low settings in SoM to getting 80+ fps on Ultra settings. The time was right for me :)
