This 8 core processor has only been owned for 3 MONTHS. Runs perfectly with no flaws. Only being sold because I upgraded to a 3900X.
It comes with the WRAITH PRISM LED Cooler that was...
I built the system in my signature last September with the intention of getting a Ryzen 3000 series on launch. I was on a 3770K before. I'll be jumping on the 3900X if the independent reviews don't show any serious flaws. Most likely not upgrading the mobo, but might consider RAM if 3600 holds...
I'm a top 500 NA flex support main and played at ESL Cologne for another game. For me, the sound from fps games sound so foreign and odd with Super X-Fi. Hard for me to pinpoint where anything is coming from with high enough precision to compete.
I love this thing. My only criticism is that for FPS games, it really messes me up with positioning. Maybe I have to unlearn everything and relearn how the Super XFi positions sounds, but playing games like Overwatch, I just couldn't tell where anything was coming from. Other non-fps...
Because of the midwest cold vortex, my monitor got delayed by 2-3 days. I just received it yesterday. This is the best monitor I've ever had.
No dead pixels, no blb... maybe I just got lucky, but I'm quite pleased with it. Out of the box settings on sRBG looked quite good as well.
Hey guys, I'm not sure what the rules on this section is, please delete as needed.
Instead of 3 separate threads, I'll just link everything below.
Asus ROG Strix 1080Ti OC Edition
MSI R9 390
Amazon Fire HD 10...
I just bought one of these at Microcenter. It's my first AMD processor in 15+ years... and I love it. The next thing also is that if you don't plan on using the RGB cooler that comes with the processor, you can do what I did and sell it on ebay for $40. Brings the cost down to an incredible...
Thanks guys. yeah, that's exactly why I was asking. Looking to buy a new drive and wondered if the speeds actually mattered, especially if I was using it to stream videos to another pc. It's a Western Digital drive that lasted me 6 years. seems like a reasonable amount of time to die.
Been a long time since I've bought a regular hard drive, but my 2TB drive is starting to click and I think is dying.
Does rotational speed matter much if I'm using the drive as a media drive to watch 1080p videos?
Thanks in advance for the thoughts.
Pretty useless if after 4 months, the latest drivers are still producing crashes for Overwatch. I just want good driver support for one of the most popular games being played right now. Still a post in Blizzard's Tech forums telling players to use drivers from June or July.
Like another post mentioned.. Bitcoin mining from a home rig hasn't been efficient for years. About 2-3 years late for this opinion. These forums even have a cryptocurrency subsection.
Could someone explain or send me to resources on why getting more than 60fps with a 60hz monitor matters or doesn't matter?
I'm looking for a really good technical explanation.
I think I'm really bad at googling, so any help would be really appreciated. Thanks guys.
I needed to do a system reinstall. Does anyone have the latest version of the install package for this sound card? The website is totally unhelpful and they may have gone out of business. It doesn't look like the files are on their server anymore.
I'm guessing they're asking about hashrate performance.
I'm getting mixed results with the official 14.4 drivers. My hash plummeted until I lowered the thread concurrency... but I'm not sure if what's being reported as hash is correct. I won't say these drivers are solid, but I haven't written...
I was using bamt 1.5 and just noticed they had a 1.6.2 update a few days ago. I'm still not getting the ~480khs from before but it's closer to 430khs now plus I'm able to use a 6570 with it also. I added a few hundred khash with that update. Sweet.
