For you all having memory issues, can you uncheck enable gpu accelerated rendering in web..... settings - interface ->.

That is still odd, i've never seen steam use that much memory on any machine i've ever used, even linux machines. mine was using about only 400mb, even got it down to around 60 mb when using this launch option. it removes the webhelper processes - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe"...
But do any of the other stores allow this, i doubt epic would allow too many devs to have their games on other storefronts with a standard lower price than egs?
It seems to be mixed bag, Halo master chief collection and forza 5, both could install to any folder. But forza 4 and some others i could not. Also for the ones that install to any folder, i have complete access to add/delete anything. So this is huge improvement, at least for the games that...
So for me, now the Galaxy client doesn't recognize my install, its basically redownloading the whole game. Not a big deal though, the download is maxing out my 1gig internet so not gunna take too long :)
You can win so many with wheel spins, I've never bought any. I've already won 1 car and less than 2 hours in.
in forza 4 I had over 100 cars and never bought any.
This is in New Albany Ohio, not Columbus but near there. I believe new Albany annex that land for this purpose.
fun fact, Median family income is 200k there.
Now i think about it, maybe i didn't have this specific deal before. at one time i did the ultimate for 3 months for 1$ and i did for pc for 1$ for 1 month, but this one might be my first time.
For me even at 1080p its showing over 9gb of vram in use according to afterburn with HD textures, can that be right? But other games that look better dont use nearly as much, seems odd.
This leads me to believe that drm doesn't actually work then. And the people buying these off the streets probably would have never have paid retail price anyways.
SteamWorld dig 2 is also free on gog, if anyone prefers DRM free :)

The stutter im getting goes away if i change DisableLoadingMip0="0" to DisableLoadingMip0="1" in the gamerprofile.xml file. But i think this can affect textures and pop in, although i haven't noticed much. was hoping new driver might help but same issue.
Anyone else getting any stutter? seems like every few seconds or so for me. 3060 and i5-8400. turning off hd textures and lowering to med still does it, though not as bad.
in benchmark i can see the sharp drops correlate to stutter.
For those of you with Amazon prime sub, enjoy!

Plus Ghostrunner which redeems on GOG and Alient Isolation which redeems on Epic. Several other games im not familiar with
hmm, if it means I don't have to use epic or amazon launcher, and the game folders arent protected and inaccessible like some Ms store games, then I might be interested.
i wonder if you can use xbox/MS gift cards to buy these games? Cash in bing rewards for gift cards and get free games...
So theres no point in Having a choice in where to buy a game ? Not sure about that.. Want to compete with a competitor? build a better product/service etc and make me want to use your service.
This is what ubisoft has dreamed of, single player games with constant internet. Ever since ac2 or whichever one required a constant connection. Tons of Drm, dlc, micro transactions etc 😁
