    Sceptre 27" X270W

Well I got mine today. I'm pretty happy with it considering it was only $270. There are no dead or stuck pixels and PS3 works wonderfully on it with no ghosting. But as expected, color reproduction is not too great due to the TN panel and built-in speakers are also crappy.

    Sceptre 27" X270W

I couldn't find any reviews on the monitor but I went ahead and ordered one anyways since Costco has a 90 day no questions asked return policy. I'll post here again once I get the monitor.

    Hanns-G HH-281HPB

So there's no stretching to fit 1080 into 1200 pixels? Reason I'm asking is some users have been complaining connecting their PS3 via HDMI to the HH-281HPB will stretch the image, rather than having 1:1 pixel mapping.

    Hanns-G HH-281HPB

Can anybody confirm that the Hanns-G HH-281HPB (or the I-Inc iH-282HPB re-brand) monitor can do 1:1 proper pixel mapping? It seems there are a lot of people reporting that their xbox 360 or ps3 will scale (stretching to fit vertically from 1920x1080 to 1920x1200) when hooked up via HDMI to the...

    7200RPM or 5400RPM for E1705?

Ok well I've heard that the new perpendicular 5400RPM notebook drives are really close in performance to the 7200RPM notebook drives. Does anybody know if Dell uses perpendicular 5400RPM drives in the E1705?

    7200RPM or 5400RPM for E1705?

I am getting a Dell laptop soon (because the nice coupons make it a good deal) and I was wondering if it was worth getting a 100GB 7200RPM HD over a 120GB 5400RPM HD. The upgrade for the 100GB 7200RPM drive is $84 more than the 120GB 5400RPM drive. I know that in the past the 5400RPM notebook...

    SN95G5 and AMD 64 3000+

PSU is probably the component that is holding you back. Probably can't support a 6800GT and a S939 A64 3000+ oc'd together. Are your PSU rails fluctuating a lot?

    Any new NF4 Shuttles?

Those old black Shuttle XPC's for P4 still look the best IMO. The new ones don't look too bad I guess :) . $400 is a bit much though :(

    Any new NF4 Shuttles?

I'm probably going to summer CPL with my DoD clan and I'm not going to lug my current watercooled PC there so I want to build a SFF system to bring. I haven't been keeping track of the SFF area lately and would like for you guys to recommend one to me. Most importantly do they have any NF4...

    A64 OC Data

It's called speed-binning and AMD getting used to the manufacturing process...if there was a revision, AMD would note it in their PDF or product code. A64 3700+ is guaranteed through speed-binning to run 2.4GHz @ 1.5V. Maybe sometime in the future the manufacturing proccess will become so...

I had HL2 pre-loaded a long time ago and I unlocked it with no problems. My friend had trouble connecting to Steam on 11/16 around 3 PM PST for about 2 hours but I had none. I haven't encountered any CS:S cheaters yet and the performance is smooth for me. But then again, I mostly spend my...

Running high Vcore with phase change for benches doesn't really matter. Especially with cascades in the -90 to -110 C range :) Most of the A64 memory controller deaths were on the Shuttle AN50R...no such problem has occurred on a mass scale since so it makes sense that it was a problem...

I thought for 4.0V on Vdimm on the DFI you have to adjust your 3.3V+ rail higher. Usually boards cannot get above 3.3V on the Vdimm unless you adjust the 3.3V+ pot on your psu, which is very dangerous.

Moose777 what are you talking about? undertheradar, you said you have XMS3200LL right? Or do you have XMS3200XL? XMS3200LL rev1.1 (it says so on the sticker on the heatspreader) is BH-5 and comes with a SPD of 2-2-2-5 1T which motherboards may find too agressive and may need to...

    A64 and RAM

Encoding likes raw bandwidth (i.e. Netburst architecture on P4). How high can your 2x512MB Corsair go up to @ 1T? Whatever yields the most read/write bandwidth is what you should use. Try using Aida32 as a memory benchmark over Sandra.
  35. D

    A64 OC Data

Because you can use it to compare even though Sandra really doesn't mean anything...Aida32 is much better but not many people use it like they do with Sandra.

    A64 and RAM

undertheradar, try switching the ram sticks around in different DIMM slots first. Then try increasing the Vdimm to 2.8V or so. You might have rev1.1 XMS3200LL with BH-5 with 2-2-2-5 SPD, which a lot of nForce2 northbridge memory controllers find too tight of a timing. In that case you might...
