I WAS WONDERING WTF WAS UP WITH THAT!!!! glad to know it's a known bug with that adapter.
I'm in the US! can i use a drop shipper? how do i know i'll have the right model?

i didn't think they said it wasa new in box unit. it could be a higher hour unit. also before long we might need to start recapping these bad bois but, then again i've seen 80s CRTs on youtube rehabbed with out too much capacitor wok needed.
for awhile backblaze reports were quite favorable and good for IronWolf drives, when i bought my 12TB IronWolfs they had really stepped up thier game.
the sunnix adapter still THE adapter? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JART8HA/
should i not hook it up to USB and let it use the DP...
That's what i thought!!! But, it's wrong. Apparently WSL and docker for windows are POS and have awful IO and IO performance. I did some digging and it is indeed a big complaint. WSL2 has been delayed and hasn't or will not hit server 2019.
Also WSL can't speaker for docker for windows but, i...
the more cores the harder it is OC as one of the bunch will be the weakest link but, then they come up with A synchronous clocks, i suspect the issues now is the transistor count. there are so many it's hard to hit higher speeds without a sub circuit like an ALU or FPU inside the core not able...
i’m trying to get lan cache working in docker on an Ubuntu VM in hyper V.
i’ve figured out that the network in hyper V needs to reach out side as does the docker network! i’m just not sure how to navigate and configure the docket network.
last time i tried this, i could ping the ubuntu VM but...
not too unlike the Pentium 4. they couldn't crack 5ghz and ran hot, so they decided to stick two CPU dies on one package and the Pentium D was born and it ran hot but, with twice the threads lol.
EDIT: also amd came out with 64 bit around that time and then later the core duo was born.
i'm tight and can't afford them but them like they would work great for esxi since i won't run past 6.5 or 6.7vmaybe more will crop up later. I have my eyes on a pair of Lifepo4 100AH batteries
It was a time when you simply made an account locally by choosing to create an account, no other wording, no domain joining. no cloud accounts, just accounts. Good ol Gates and Balmer lead MS, when they had QA and testing labs. Never needed to learn much no how! Why buttons said what they meant...
i remeber in my day you could create a local account if you watned, no domain, no pulling cords, no side stepping, no bullshit. i've very tempted to spedn $60-80 USD per machine for 2 years extendend patching support from 0patch
i had just bought a 2070FE for like $350 damn near NBIB shipped just before things started getting crazy. got cheap water block, runs super cool and runs at maximum turbo always. i figure i'll just OC it if i ever get around to using my tower or actualy gaming again.
Ive heard such good luck with primochill rad clean that I bought a 2lb bag of citric acid for $14 I've bought enough kits that I have a few funnels and plugs collected.
i have switch an AP and router. if the router goes down it all goes down. it's all dumb and has to make calls to the router. though thinking about it you'd think the switch could still handel local traffic. yuo know i haven't tried any connections while rebooting the router.
to be fair i have...
yeah i self host too. not web server yet. the dynamic IP is free, there are a few services that are free. My ISP changes IP upon modem IP upon modem reboot.
sounds like pointing a fan on the router/modem/poe adapter might be a good idea. i like those little arctic cooling USB fans and the AC...
then that doesn't sound like real bridge mode to me. as my modem-router in bridge mode acts as a modem. :-( maybe i'll be able to pay more for the older kit in a few months. if it's aviable. i'd rather deal with a permantley attached cable lol
i also have a domain name and provider also gives...
i this kit requires you to use their crappy router though form what i heard. i hope bridge mode is out by the time my area gets Star Link.
I guessing you're not a fan for dynamic DNS via sync application of some sort?
Do the LG channels freeze every 30 seconds for you too? i have wired ethernet on 300meg service and i know smart TVs can only pull 100meg. i think it's too high of a bitrate and the TV can't always decode or the TV lacks enough RAM
evaporust is for ferrous metal only. looks like the crap that came out of this modified AIO i took apart last weekend. i assume it was corrosion of some sort since they used distilled water. but wouldn't coper oxide be blue? i know primo rad clean came out blue after soaking.
for my personal...
AH! I remember this when shopping for a radiator for my Dodge, my dad was saying anything past a 3 row might actually start making things warmer, and that a big wide 2 row was probably the sweet spot.
so then I did good on my personal rig where i used 2 39mm low fin count Formula mod rads and 1...
looks to have about the same as the alphacool BUT, it looks like a few more fins than my formula mod.
maybe it's worth a shot

it's also an unlocked multi. sincei already have the 6600k i'm tempted to oc it and run some benches and then if i find a supercheap 7860k do the same and share results.
whats a good price on the 7860k? also are the newer ones like the 7860k more conducive with youtube? the 6600k tends to...
hey look what i found
the 7850k has
Integrated graphics
GPU Type: Radeon R7 series
Shader cores: 512
Base frequency (MHz): 720
The number of supported displays: 4
and the 6600K
Integrated graphics
GPU Type: Radeon HD 8570D
Shader cores: 256
Base frequency (MHz): 844
so i guess for...
so then aside from any notable iGPU gains it's back to my original idea, B.E. CPU, might as well over clock it! i can't find much OC info on the 6600K though, can the iGPU be OCed? i got 1866mhz ram, IDK if those timings were tight for back then...
