Crucible has been brutal for the last couple weeks. I consider myself above average in pvp, but lately it feels like I'm getting wrecked much more often. I still enjoy it, but maybe I'm getting too old to keep up in the crucible lol.

Definitely the anniversary. Season pass gives you some leveling bonuses, but the anniversary buys you actual game content, dungeons, gear etc

Have you tried using the application specific setting in the Nvidia control panel? Its been a while since I've done this, but you should be able to add the game's executable and specify settings, specifically setting the performance mode to "high performance".

Allegedly the new flagship Intel used 2.3x more power than the 5950x in official benchmark, and the recently released AMD cache fixes were not installed. I'm not sure how reliable the article is, but if true, Intels new big dog CPU isn't quite as impressive as I thought it would be...

Been rocking the G6 for a couple years now. Its a fine device for gaming and music with a nice pair of headphones. The high gain switch can feed my headphones that require a bit more juice to get the most out of them.

FSR works for Nvidia as well. I didnt read the review, but I suspect the AMD GPUs simply perform better on this game regardless of FSR.

The Corair kit is at CAS 18. I do also have a CAS 16 Crucial kit, but its two DIMMs single rank, so I figured the four stick of corsair would be comparable.

I tried with the 4000 Gskill, but it wouldnt even post. I also tried the built-in B-die profile for 3800 and it also did not post. I am however using the XMP(DOCP) with the Corsair kit just fine.

I played a bit more last night and noticed that I still get some black crush in dark areas, specifically most rock shadows are devoid of detail. For example if I enter one of the lost sectors that are in a cave where you have to use a flashlight. Does this happen to anyone else, if not, what...

The brightness in game was the one thing i tinkered with and the black crush on the moon was unbearable, so like you I set it back to default.

It also looks a bit saturated to me on my C1. I have not really tweaked any of the picture settings yet, but it doesn't bother me.

I don't disagree, but the one thing I like about their radiators is I tend find a lot less debris when cleaning out a new one. I know this is anecdotal, but it saves a bit of arm trauma when cleaning lol.

The EK plate is very expensive, but the case is one of the best for water cooling without going behemoth size with a Corsair 900D/1000D.
