NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

That's very nice of you. I don't wanna make you go out of your way to do this since I manage to salvage two clips that were not being used by the newer style side panels, but if I had not been able to do that, I would have taken you on your offer. It looks like the seller will refund me. He is...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

FYI, I received these and they don't work with the NCASE M1. The material is not the same, its not elastic enough and seem too tight so the studs don't snap in. Not sure if its worth pursuing a refund for the cheap price, but I may notify the seller or leave a review so as to prevent other...

Thank you, ordered. Is anyone aware of a bottom air filter that can be used on the V5?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Th The PCIE threads on mine also stripped, and my solution was to buy longer (about 1/2”) screws with a nut on the other side, and it turns out it holds the video card even more securely so I’m happy with the solution. Now that my NCASE M1 is a rare artifact I feel like I’ll have to baby it...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Thanks for the great case, guys. Is there a chance you can tell me where I can find the plastic retention clips for the side panels? I'm a longtime NCASE M1 user and two of those little things broke. Otherwise the case is still working great. I'm glad I bought the new side panels and front USB-C...

2080 Ti strange behavior (Windows 10 UI slowdown. Crashes.)

If you hear Steve Burke's explanation on the Gamers Nexus, he made the video precisely because of how unusual and rare the issue is. Rare enough that if he hadn't made it, I would have never realized what was wrong with the card because very very few people had the problem. The Micron thing was...

2080 Ti strange behavior (Windows 10 UI slowdown. Crashes.)

Yeah if you made any changes on Precision it would crash the driver and you could find that logged into the event viewer. There was no new BIOS but I did re-flash the stock one for good measure after reinstalling Windows. Trust me I tried everything, and EVGA support was kept in the loop and...

2080 Ti strange behavior (Windows 10 UI slowdown. Crashes.)

Make sure you do a clean install of the NVIDIA drivers or even a clean Windows reinstall before you jump into conclusions and call EVGA, but here's the video:

2080 Ti strange behavior (Windows 10 UI slowdown. Crashes.)

Who said driver crashes always mean faulty hardware? It was faulty hardware. EVGA replaced the card. The new card is working perfectly.

2080 Ti strange behavior (Windows 10 UI slowdown. Crashes.)

Strangely, it turned out to be a rare hardware problem with the GPU and EVGA authorized an RMA. Its an uncommon defect with reference design 2080 Ti cards. Gamers Nexus did a video about it. Basically there is either a short or some sort of problem that makes the card go into panic mode and i...

I did and it helped me hold a 1,900+Mhz constant clock with a hybrid cooler.

GHOST S1 - When both size & performance matters

I bought a Ghost S1 from Amazon and decided to keep my NCASE. If anyone would like the Ghost S1 for retail price let me know. It comes with an unopened Large Top Hat and Noctua L12S. I rather pass it on to someone than return it to Amazon.

GHOST S1 - When both size & performance matters

Can you fit two AIO's into the Ghost? I have a hybrid 2080 Ti and a 240mm Corsair H110i sitting around that I would like to use. I assume I would need a top and bottom hat? What about two 120mm AIO's into a single top or bottom hat?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Any ideas how to repaint shallow cosmetic scratches in the NCASE’s paint? On a black case. Also one of the expansion slot screw threads has stripped (seems common with Lian-Li aluminum) any idea if there is a way to repair that, or should i accept it and move on?

$999 EVGA 2080ti Black Edition: A good deal?

Just wanted to report that this is a great card to put under water. With EVGA's hybrid cooler, I manage to keep it under 69c at all times and with NVIDIA auto OC curve and RAM at +1000, the speeds stay between 1950mhz and 2030mhz. Runs very quiet. So I ended up spending $1,170 without taxes...

$999 EVGA 2080ti Black Edition: A good deal?

AFAIK, you can’t flash a higher power BIOS on this card because it’s a 300 chip instead of a 300A chip. Anyways I installed the cooler and it did improve performance, it now sustains between 1,920-2,100Mhz speeds under load. Same OC Scanner overlock. So about 100Mhz faster. Looks like Turing...

$999 EVGA 2080ti Black Edition: A good deal?

I'm waiting for UPS to deliver my EVGA Hybrid cooler which I will slap into the 2080 Ti Black Edition. I'll post results but I'm pretty sure it'll just be power limited.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

That picture is exactly how I have it set right now. However, when I install the hybrid GPU cooler, the radiator will be where the side fan is, and the radiator's air will be exhausted. My fear is that the radiator's fan and the CPU's fan will be fighting for air.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I receive the EVGA hybrid kit tomorrow and will install it on my 2080 Ti and test. Was hoping someone had already done it so I didn’t have to disassemble if it doesn’t work well. I’ll test with both as exhaust first, and hopefully they are far enough apart that they can get enough fresh air from...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Whats the best cooling setup with a hybrid GPU and a Noctua U9S? I don't wanna intake from the rear as that would dump hot CPU air into the GPU radiator, let alone dumping hot radiator air into the CPU. So I'm thinking having both the U9S and the GPU radiator exhausting (rear and side exhausts)...

$999 EVGA 2080ti Black Edition: A good deal?

They didn't charge me sales tax on a $999.99 2080 Ti Black. Billed and shipped to New York. If its out of stock, set Auto-Notify and buy it as soon as you get an email saying its in stock. Thats how I got mine. Great video card.

$999 EVGA 2080ti Black Edition: A good deal?

It's fine. I have never used an Accelero setup so I can't compare it to that. But compared to a Founders Edition 1080 Ti (blower) its much quieter and lower pitch. A whoosh instead of a whine. I mostly game with headphones so I can't notice it. Flip your fans as intake and try it out. I was...

$999 EVGA 2080ti Black Edition: A good deal?

The EVGA 2080 Ti Black is great. Mine overclocks to around 1850-1920Mhz depending on the workload. I had an EVGA XC Ultra which I returned and the performance difference is not worth the extra money. You wouldn't be able to notice the difference in games, just a couple of FPS. The best...

I have that Ultra card waiting for me at Microcenter, I haven’t picked it up because I wasn’t sure it would fit into the M1. I have two extra Noctua fans, I’ll see if I can go get the card and try it with the shroud off. I have a pair of high pressure Noctua PWM’s. Can anyone confirm whether I...

    The All-New Razer Blade 15

A picture of the backlight bleed on my panel. Looks a bit worse than in person. I don't ever notice it during normal use.

    The All-New Razer Blade 15

If you are gonna do content creation the 4k one is the one for you, and presumably the panels are of higher quality so maybe you'll have a better chance of getting one with minimal backlight bleed. I use mine for browsing and gaming so the 144hz panel is a no brainer.
  35. M

    The All-New Razer Blade 15

On mine the backlight bleed is not any worse than any other normal IPS panel I have had. If you simply cannot accept backlight bleed then you are just gonna have to avoid IPS technology entirely. It does get hot when you use the Performance mode (it applies an overclock), but under normal mode...

    The All-New Razer Blade 15

There is some blacklight bleed coming from the bottom bezel. Its only visible on an entirely black screen, and even then its really not bad. If it was, I would exchange it, I dont have much tolerance for glaring QC defects. I can't speak for Razer support as I intentionally removed them from the...

    The All-New Razer Blade 15

I got the new Razer Blade 15 w/ 1070. Its badass. The only real complaint is the idiotic keyboard layout with the UP ARROW key to the let of the RIGHT SHIFT KEY. Other than that its everything I dreamed of in a potable gaming laptop. Elegant design (except for the embarrassing logo), a nice...

    The All-New Razer Blade 15

Other manufacturers are offering laptops with the option to switch between Optimum and G-Sync. Razer has no excuse not to do it here. Laptops are where adaptive sync is needed the most. Shit, even Apple implements it on their iPad Pros.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I thought about that same airflow layout. Are you using a filter on the 92mm intake? It may also create negative air pressure which in my old dusty Brooklyn apartment is a problem.
