well i've just spent the past 2 hours trying to configure that, and I have no luck.
While viewing the Network and Sharing center in w7, I'll connect to the network, which will then "connect" to the internet for about 20 seconds, and then disconnect.
I'm ready to pull my hair out on this. I've...
Ok, i know this is possible, but I'm not sure what it's called, so I'll just explain what I want to do.
I have my att uverse router/modem in my living room. My desktop pc is in a room directly above my living room. I have an existing Linksys PCI wifi card but my asus mobo doesn't have any...

Ok, first some back story. (this problem occured on my HTPC, all specs are in my sig)
About 3 weeks ago I was trying to get my 1090t rig to 4GHz, was stress testing with OCCT and it just shut off. no blue screen or anything. Tried powering back up, and nothing, not a power light on the mobo...
you're right. I'm sure he drives around all the time with that keg in the trunk
but when this is used for select occasions, ie: tailgating most likely, having that keg in the truck w/ice will stay plenty cold ;)
all my files are where they're supposed to be, and i'm running a windows server, so permissions aren't the issue

those speakers look great, but my current sub is under my desk & in the corner of the room... so in no way would those work for me (or most people)
fixed. I posted my problem on the foldling forums as well, and some guy had a piece of spyware that changed his date to the year 2000. Well i looked on my x6 box and the year was right, it was just a month behind, fixed the date, stopped folding, deleted fahlog & bingo, problem solved :D
what mobo are you using? I cant' find a temp monitoring program to save my life that will actually read the temps. Every program i've tried reads 32.2°C
Coretemp, real temp, OCCT, Everest, CPIUD HW Monitor, AMD Overdrive, none of them work. I've got a MSI 890GXM-G65 updated with latest 1.6 bios
the first core it downloaded was a core 78, but i realized I forgot the -SMP flag, so I deleted the work stopped the client, deleted the work folder & cue, added the -SMP 6 flag & restarted the client & then it downloaded the A3 core ;)
