Windows 7 updates now working with Ryzen/Skylake?

Wufuc worked great on my X470 Tacihi for the year that I used it. It is a pain to get Win7 to install since the USB drivers aren't recognized so a ps/2 keyboard is required until chipset drivers are installed. I ended up going to 10 in May when that system had a hardware failure.

VideoCardz: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X to become world’s first 16-core gaming CPU

This is wild. Intel gave only 4 core chips for years. Now AMD gives MOAR COREZ and people are sick of it after barely two years. They want MOAR MEGAHURTZ which is something not even Intel can provide. Is this 1996 where only clockspeed matters? Oh well, better save up for that 9900KS.

    Seasonic X-750 750W PSU 10 Year Redux @ [H]

Wow, I'm still running an X-750 still in my main setup. The main components have changed a few times but it's the same power supply from 2010 and still feels solid. On a side note, now that OklahomaWolf from jonnyguru is retiring... maybe there's room in the market for a new PSU site? Is...

    Microsoft Criticizes FCC Broadband Report

Centurylink has a pretty sweet deal here. $65 a month for 100/100mbit. It's pre-paid so they will cut you off if payment is missed, but you can put it on a credit card for renewal. Oh, it's also considered business class so no data caps.

ZDNet Analyzes the Windows 10 Update Schedule

This might snowball into a colossal fuck up when it's finally released. "Does this mean Microsoft is going to move to a major/minor schedule with Windows 10 feature releases moving forward? I hear the answer is no. This year is just a messy one-off, sources of mine say." Sure, of course it's a...

I can't believe what people are paying for 2500K and 3570K combos

https://github.com/zeffy/wufuc I used this to load Win7 on my 2600x last August. Been working fine since then, but I did need to use a ps/2 keyboard to load before installing the AMD drivers. I forget at what point the USB controller becomes usable.

Metro Exodus Settings and APIs Tested

Come now! You're more than welcome to be butthurt too, don't let me steal all the thunder! There's no need to be so upset and defensive when so few games support the main selling point of the cards. I'm confident more rays just dying to be traced will be released in the very near future.

Metro Exodus Settings and APIs Tested

Man, I sure would be pissed if I bought an RTX card and only had two ray-traced games plus a benchmark in the ~5 months since launch. This is coming from someone who has been all nvidia since 2004.

Possible, but unlikely. My employer has a Microsoft agreement where we have access to nearly all Microsoft product ISOs which activate via an on-site KMS server. This was just an 1803 ISO that I pulled off the shared storage server. Probably the only thing more "vanilla" would be an ISO from...

AMD Previews 7nm Ryzen CPUs at CES

This is why I'm wondering if they showed the Ryzen 5 version in that Cinebench test. Can a Ryzen 5 beat the Intel chip or are those leaks wrong and the Ryzen 7 is only 8c/16t?
