    Battlefield 2042

BF4 had Dice almost giving up on the game. They couldn't fix the game and eventually said fuck it! threw it at Dice LA which at that time only did DLC's and maps for Dice Sweden. Eventually Dice LA fixed the game after a whole year of being unplayable for a lot of people and even improved a lot...

    Battlefield 2042

I have a bunch of hours in both BF1 and BF5 and they are quite different from each other. BF1 has an amazing atmosphere and probably the prettiest battlefield to date and it's generally a lot of fun to play. It also has elite classes which can be a lot of fun to play as and play against. One big...

    3080 Ti EVGA Notify Queue

Yeah, I kind of did. I suppose that is true, but it still suck for us with SFF rigs. I've moved to a bigger case now, but it's a little too late now. The wait for the 4000 series will be rough.

    3080 Ti EVGA Notify Queue

I'm using an SFF system so at that moment the XC3 card seemed like the one to get. At this point it's probably not worth signing up for any card as I'm too far behind in the queue. I still got an gtx 1070 in my rig, although it quit on me the week after the warranty ended which would have left...

    3080 Ti EVGA Notify Queue

How are you guys getting cards? I signed up on day one and the only email I've received was EVGA telling me that my card changed to the LHR model. I really regret picking the XC3 Black as I don't think they are producing them in the same numbers as the FTW cards or the hybrids. Perhaps they...

    Battlefield 2042

BF1 wasn't all bad, but it had faults like it's cone of fire that was all random that really fucked with you if you were using a full automatic weapon. BFV was totally mistreated by DICE and they missed all the grand battles of WW2 which was a big mistake. although BFV had the best mechanics for...

LG Exiting The Mobile Phone Market

Still using the LG V20 and probably will continue using it into 2022. The fact that Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is hot and use 20% more battery than its predecessor makes it a no buy for me. I was really hoping for a V80 from LG next year, so I'm sad to hear LG are dropping the phone market, but...

I almost find that hard to believe considering stock is only there for seconds when there is any. Even when you have bots alarming you of stocks, it's hard to get one.

Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 is only $149.99 right now on Amazon

Is a nvme 4.0 gen4 drive worth it compared to something like Samsung 970 plus 2tb for $250? Would I even benefit from it or feel a difference unless I'm moving huge files?

ASUS Warns Radeon RX 6800 XT Initial Stock To Be Limited, Ryzen 5000 CPUs Ravaged By Scalpers

Got the same message yesterday with the same dates.

[AMD] AMD shows more gaming benchmarks on RX 6800, 6800 XT and 6900 XT, at 4K and 1440p.

Yeah, AMD is using 3200mhz for their testing in these benchmarks and that makes a big difference in FPS. 8-14 fps gain with faster memory.

    6700k paired with 3080 (bottleneck?)

I don't play at 4K, but at 1440p and my 7700K was severely bottlenecking my 2080ti. Can't even imagine it with a 3080 or 3090. I'm guessing you'd have at least 15-18% lower fps with a 6700K if you pair it with a 3090 and 10-12% with a 3080, but it's not only the fps as the 4 cores just aren't...

Nvidia and Asus unveil a 360Hz gaming monitor designed for e-sports

Nvidia and Asus unveil a 360Hz gaming monitor designed for e-sports

Benq's monitors are definitely the best when it comes to maximising their monitors fully, but 360hz is a lot and you'll for sure be able to perceive a difference. At the moment Asus and AOC with their 360hz panel is exclusive to Asus for 6 months, but I'm pretty sure we will see 360hz from Benq...

Nvidia and Asus unveil a 360Hz gaming monitor designed for e-sports

That's what is going to be the issue moving forward as I'm sure we can get higher hz, but there is going to be limitations with crosstalk, motion blur and artifacts the further refresh rate is pushed.

Nvidia and Asus unveil a 360Hz gaming monitor designed for e-sports

The Decline (not the death) of Gaming

Battalion1944 was never meant as a hyper realistic game, but a highly competitive fast fps shooter.. This was precisely what the developers were going for, but they fooled a lot of people with their kickstarter and the early alpha video they released.

Rumor that Socket AM5 to debut with Ryzen 5000

Got a Ryzen 1st gen 1700X in a B450 motherboard and if i can go from a 1st gen cpu to a 4700X I'll be extremely satisfied. Can't believe people are actually whining about not being able to drop in a 5xxx series cpu in their 4-5 year old motherboards..

AMD CTO Mark Papermaster: More Cores Coming in the 'Era of a Slowed Moore's Law'

I don't think you know what responsive is.. You are talking about battlefield being a mess in multiplayer, but considering BF5 has higher tickrate and lower latency I really can't see how you can talk about ID being a benchmark of any sort other than being a good corridor shooter/single player...

AMD CPUs pass 20 per cent share milestone in Steam survey

AMD is definitely selling more CPU's than Intel in Europe right now. 20% really doesn't sound too far off considering the last 3 years AMD has been very competitive, especially when it comes to prices and the amount of power you get for a lower price.

AMD CTO Mark Papermaster: More Cores Coming in the 'Era of a Slowed Moore's Law'

I remember people saying that we wouldn't need quad cores and 2 cores was all that was needed for gaming.. Now quad cores are not enough and I'm pretty sure it's going to keep going that way. I'll get back to your comment in 4-5 years when 6 cores aren't enough.

Nvidia study finds gamers have better K/D ratios at higher framerates

Most of the people in here are casual gamers and never played competitive in anything and usually have a bad understanding how input lag, refresh rate, etc works. When they give their opinion about something like refresh rate I just get amused and simply ignore these people. I don't own a 240hz...

    Valve confirms Half-Life: Alyx

Recochet was such a damn funny game. Me and my friends spent hours playing that game while talking trash to each other. On another note.. AMD Confirms Zen 3 Brings Entirely Brand New CPU Architecture, Delivers Significant IPC Gains, Faste

That is not true. At 240hz the 9900K/KF/KS outperforms zen2 and although not by a huge amount, but enough for me choosing Intel at 240hz. Obviously there is no need to play tomb raider at that 240 hz, but other competitive games at 240hz Intel is still "king", but hopefully not for too long.

AMD Confirms Zen 3 Brings Entirely Brand New CPU Architecture, Delivers Significant IPC Gains, Faste

Zen 3 should go head to head with Intel in games while being more efficient and having more cores. If you are going for 240hz Intel is the CPU to pick right now, but hopefully that changes with Zen 3.

    R5 3600 upgrade?

My 7700K is definitely still faster than the 1700x, but it's not by much and I'm not sure how long a quad core will be viable, especially not with a 2080ti. I'll most likely upgrade the 1700x and throw whatever ryzen 4000 cpu in when it releases(if there is support for it) and have that as my...
