I've had the 27" version of this monitor for several months now and still love it
Yes, it's a TN panel but a damn good one and looks fantastic after applying some tweaks and the response times...
Gsync tax sucks but playing games and not noticing when frame rate dips is something else
Got the S2716DG set up last night.
As mentioned, out of the box calibration is awful.
I managed to tinker with the gamma/brightness /vibrance/etc settings to my liking and it's quite an upgrade from my old monitor.
144hz vs 60hz is really something else.
Not sure i applied the ICC profile...
You were right, after reverting insider builds and replacing the HID compliant drivers DS3 is running great.
A few frame rate hitches here and there but not anything like it was.
got rid of the remaining framerate hitches with the below.
running at 2560x1600 DSR locked at 60fps...
is everyone having framerate issues when using a gamepad?
drops wildly to 20fps every few seconds on my 980ti, unless i put the gamepad down and use mouse/KB then it's rather steady 60fps.
tried XBox One and 360 controllers to same result.
Just Cause Collection key from 'Humble Square Enix Bundle 3' for whomever wants it, i already owned a copy
*gone to araxie*
also Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn key because i won't use it (not for steam though)
*gone to gs274*
is Thief the 'Master Thief Edition' or include any of the DLC?
considering a refund as i haven't used my key yet.
already own most of the titles and don't care about FF14
I redeemed key and Thief is the regular version with no DLC
Thanks for going the extra mile squeenix
thanks for the replies, samsung support claimed the "1GB capacity in BIOS but not appearing in OS" issue was a known bug with really old firmware although i'm sure i updated it within the last year to whatever was current at the time.
oh well, they're going to RMA the drive and i'll make sure i...
I've had this 840 pro 256GB as a secondary drive housing steam game installs for some time now and noticed it went missing today after never giving me problems. it shows in BIOS as 1GB in size but windows and magician refuse to see it even as external device.
is this what happens when SSD's...
5.5 revision 2143827 currently.
no KB, VMware support is still researching if this is restricted to just our cluster (very possible) and haven't been able to reproduce elsewhere.
we need virtual mode RDMs primarily for our backup solution (netbackup snapshots) and only use physical mode RDMs...
in case anyone else comes across this issue, it's related to datastore cluster miscalculating the RDM capacity.
recreating the datastore cluster did not help but dragging datastores out of the cluster for the VM storage migration to succeed then dragging them back in is an easy workaround.
thanks, i did find a blog article yesterday that mentioned performing the storage migration in two steps, first move the VMDK disk to new datastore then move the RDM's but i still get the same "insufficient space" error on the latter.
this also left the VM straddled between two datastores and we...
I posted this on the VMware community forums and even opened a support case to no avail.
Hoping someone here has experienced this before and i'm not crazy
We're having trouble storage migrating a VM that has a 36GB thin provisioned VMDK disk and (2) 1TB virtual mode independent-persistent...
pulse elite support was indeed returned in firmware update last night.
you have to hold down the PS button controller and change the audio output setting to headset, took a few minutes to find this out.
the only difference i've noticed is that i can't leave the audio cord plugged into the USB...
i've found remote play to be very impressive, granted i'm ~12' away from the wifi AP in the same room.
there is a bit of lag/artifacting on occasion but subsides quickly. my only complaint is the lack of a physical L2/R2 button but some games are more dependent on this than others.
no burn in...
