Lance Barr The Designer Of The NES And SNES Has Retired From Nintendo After Almost 40 Years

There were other products back then, but you had to read an electronics supply catalog to find out about them. I used de-ox-id from GC Electronics (smelled like Kroil).

Yes, they are scanning the images while they are still on your phone, because you agree to this as the terms of storing your images on their cloud server. It is entirely voluntary on your part. Is it legal for me to come into your house and install cameras so that I can have a computer AI...

The images on your phone are only being scanned if you store them on Apple's cloud servers. If you do not want apple scanning your images on your device, don't store them on Apple's cloud servers. This is entirely your choice. Storing your images on Apple's cloud server comes with some rules...

You are storing your images on their server. They (just like Google and Dropbox already do) have the right to scan those images before or after they are stored on their property. Really the only difference between Apple and [Google && Dropbox] is that Apple is performing this scan on your...

She was not only being nosy, but then she baited you into showing it to her so she could complain about it. That is completely fucked up beyond measure, and you were screwed out of your job by a sociopath. Did you contact a lawyer to see if you could fight it?

Apple will remotely install software to scan all US phones for child sex abuse images

Outside of rooting, smartphones have never been a "user-controlled" piece of hardware. Considering that Google and Dropbox have already implemented CSAM detection on their servers, I think the only reason this is getting as much traction as it is getting is because Apple released a press...

Women have made broad inroads fighting for their inclusion in our society and military. In 1996, 119 women were admitted to West Point, Shannon Faulkner was the first woman to attend The Citadel in 1995, and Beth Ann Hogan was the first woman to attend VMI in 1996. And yet, to this day...

That's actually a good question, I don't know if they will be looking at the actual image in question or a "simplified" version of it that is more detailed than the version which set off the perceptual hash, but less detailed than the actual image. I would assume the former, because from what...

It wouldn't work that way - if the code finds a match, it gets kicked up to an employee of or contractor for Apple who looks at it before a report gets sent to NCMEC. When the human finds that it is a mismatch it should theoretically get written off as such.

Sadly, our justice system has a poor record of convicting people who damage people's lives with their lies. Tawana Brawley, Jussie Smollet, and the Duke LaCrosse case come to mind, and there are many, many, many others. In a perfect world, when you falsely accuse someone of a crime you...

Yeah I spent a year at a place like that once in my life, it was called pre-school and we had snacks and story time and a nap every day in the afternoon. It was awesome. That's the thing I don't understand people complaining about. What a supervisor does with his or her time, whether it is playing games, taking a long lunch, or taking the rest of the day off should have absolutely no bearing on the work he or she assigned to another worker. As far as...
