    Server 2012 Hyper-V VT-d /IOMMU How?

I have a motherboard and processor that supports VT-d. In ESX-i I was able to redirect a pci-e card to a specific virtual machine, It did have problems and did not work completely, but the VT-d did seem to be redirecting the card. I was able to install the drivers, and it looked good in device...

[Release] ProFTPD for VMware ESXi 5.x

From your page "I personally do not see much value in having an FTP server in ESXi," . Well I do. The other methods are slower and prone to failure. Does it take care of the Esxi firewall rules? I have seen some other postings about FTP and having to open some stuff in the firewall config...

    Managing Cisco Configs

This all spawned out of having a rotating guest wireless password. We have about 30 ish wireless Access points and another 100 ish routers and switches (all Cisco). Under Properties for the adapter there is a power management tab. I recently noticed that by default on the 3 machines I have install win 7 on they are set to let wondows turn the power off to the device and the WOL is off. Check out the "power management" tab under the properites of the card.

    Greenpeace Vandalizes HP Corporate HQ

What do you mean by "exterminating" in your original statement? We may be on the same page. If you mean, if they could collect all of the domesticated animals in north America and kill them, then you haven’t shown me anything that proves that.

    Greenpeace Vandalizes HP Corporate HQ

I am not wrong in what I said. You said that "Such as they believe in exterminating all domesticated animals (which includes your dogs, cats, etc)." and "PETA on the other hand views domesticated ownership as cruelty. " . You link says nothing to support your statements, and PETA's official...

I am no PETA supporter, but I think you may be mistaken. PETA on Pets You may be getting at the part where they oppose Puppy mills and having a dog on a chain all day long with minimal interaction where they would probably be better off in the wild, but in general your statement is not...

    High Gain Antennas WAP ?

More milliwats isn’t necessarily a good thing. I would rather have a different router with larger antennas. How to see who's eating the bandwidth

Heres a second for Ntop. If you want to see who is going where and how much this is a great tool. The windows version is a little trickey to get, because they dont supply a compiled version, but if you know how to use google to search for executables, you can find it. It's Gnu License.

While unsupported by VMware directly those boxes should work as other people have done it with that Hardware. See here You need to read the notes for each one, there may be things that don’t work, or you may need to do a little editing of files. Luckily my old EVGA board worked with both the...
