    Nvidia Drivers 445.75

Same, I limit the use 3rd party "tools" to a minimum. Never had any issues, the K.I.S.S. principle works like a charm for me (for +30 years) EDIT: Infact I suspect a lot of issues that arise from in forums is people have their OS filled with 3rd party "tools", I have seen horribad examples on...

Intel sadly never made the same "mistake" again...I don't think any of their platforms ever had such longevity.

DOOM Eternal Tested on Low-end Graphics Cards

More guessing...I would not suspect AVX...but SSE version support.

    AMD raytracing techdemo

One thing I think that might hamper AMD is that I suspect NVIDIA has been aiming for this ever since the G80. Not just the hardware...but also the software/eco-system. So they have planned this for a long time...and put the recources into developing this. Where as AMD seems to have been caught...

Apple ARM Based MacBooks and iMacs to come in 2021

Tinted glasses much? Tehy went from mocking Intel...to "Intel is the best". Crapple and their fanbois (reality distortion field). Remember Mac servers? :wtf:

RUMOR: NVIDIA to announce the GeForce RTX 3000 in August

30% has kinda been the norm from generation to generation...Pascal was an outlier FYI, drop the "entitlement"... Edit: https://hardforum.com/threads/nvidia-ampere-gpus-to-feature-2x-performance-than-the-rtx-20-series-pcie-4-0-up-to-826-mm-dies-and-20-gb-of-vram.1993377/post-1044508267

    RTX 3xxx performance speculation

Hardware = AMD RDNA2 SKU (The same architechture is coming to PC...so calling it "console hardware" is kinda misleading) Software = Direct 12 Ultimate (The API is now IDENTICAL between Xbox and Windows 10....so calling it "console software" is misleading...at best.) This indicates for me that...

Doom Eternal accidentally ships without Denuvo DRM, making pirates’ job easier

Egoistic, selfentilted wankers will always justify their illegal actions with enititled bullshite...don't waste time on pirates, what has been assertained without reason cannot be dismissed by reason ;)

Vulkan RT is VERY similar to DXR FYI. Almost a copy...look at the API specs.

AMD RDNA 2 gets ray tracing

MUCH better link....straight from Microsoft: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/directx/announcing-directx-12-ultimate/ Now say after me: D X R DirectX RayTracing. Raytracing is DXR...
  23. F

AMD RDNA 2 gets ray tracing

DXR is still DXR...both AMD and NVIDIA will run raytracing via DXR...it is not rocket science...so why do you fail so hard? ;)

    AMD raytracing techdemo

Something is off with the shadows/ligthing....which is odd...because that is where RT should shine. Also wonky (upscaled?) animation

    RTX 3xxx performance speculation

That doesn't bode well for "Big Navi" then. The new Xbox touts a "12 TFlops RDNA 2 GPU" (giving 1080p/30-60 FPS DXR Minecraft) while the RTX 2060 has 6.5 TFlops GPU (giving 1080p/60FPS DXR minecraft)...

    RTX 3xxx performance speculation

This video lifts the veil a bit about the performance of the new Xbox: They talk about 1080p/30-60FPS for the new Xbox in DXR Minecraft Compare that to Microsoft target of 1080p/60FPS for DXR Minecraft on a RTX 2060: https://www.pcgamesn.com/minecraft/rtx-system-requirements So we can deduce...

    Ray Tracing Without RT Hardware

And not just be Screen Space Reflections. But at least we have moved on from the "RT sucks!" Not we are at the "Look at this RT which is NOT NVIDIA DXR!!!"...where "RT" is a truth with modifications. Slow progress ;)

Buy 2080Ti now, or wait for holidays?

Yeah, every generation we have the "cheap-crowd" hoping...and every generation they get disappointed...and somehow forget this every generation. I am so tired of the same lame argument: "But THIS time it could happen!!!" No it will not...get over it.
  33. F

    RTX 3xxx performance speculation

Your argument fails because the Super cards perform better...if more performance = "marketing" we have gone waaaay beyond "silly season".

AMD might detail new RDNA2 graphics card on March 5

Like I said, YOU made a deliberate choice...stop blaming the world for YOUR choice...ffs...*nix crowd never change...
  35. F

AMD might detail new RDNA2 graphics card on March 5

This is not rocket science...it the (boring) old *nix tune of: "X does not support my stance on open-tardyness, so I will hinder my own performance...but I will blame the faster hardware, despite it being ME that is the problem!" The *nix crowd...a minority that makes far to much noise compared...
  36. F

AMD might detail new RDNA2 graphics card on March 5

Logic doesn't work well with the *nix crowd...trust me.

Then you made a deliberate choice to hamstring your own gaming performance, stop whining.

You would be suprised at how rare "common sense" is today sadly...those Tesla SKU's numbers have muppets running all over the inderwebs talking about GeForce Ampere (like it will have Tesla specs)...reality bites ;)

    More DLSS...

None of the consumer models will use HBM...this is Tesla-land...silly times again. Edit: To show the difference: Volta (GV100) 5120:320:128 Turing (TU102-400-A1) 4608:288:96 Volta came out BEFORE Turing...but still had more cores, TMU's and ROP's This will be the same with Ampere...don't look...
