More info about Adaptive Undervotling, or Curve optimizer which is the CORRECT way to undervolt your ryzen 5000 CPU.
I would read up on this, and take advice from people with...
Those voltages are normal. I have a feeling if you lower your voltage manually, you are going to be losing overall clock speed. If you want to keep performance, and lower voltage, you need to use Curve optimizer.
Here is a reddit post everyone should read from Robert Hallock
I found out more info about the fan - "On the front of the box they’ll either be a little badge that says “15% fan mode” on the old ones and “premium/Japanese capacitors” on the new edition"
Mine is the old version. The box says "15% Fanless" Not sure if it's worth it to RMA it or not.
I ordered the CM PSU on Friday. It will be here tomorrow. They use ASI (distributor) who in turn shipped from Newegg. And luckily enough, I have a Newegg warehouse 30 mins away. So I will get the PSU tomorrow. If that Lian Li TU150 had better ventilation I would have picked that up too.
the models look great. I hope the unreal engine works well under amd gpu's this time. some games have a history of not. I'm going to miss the x-ray engines quarks for sure.
no its in your bios. make sure bios is up to date. there are some videos and things about curve optimizer. but my 5800x isn't stable at -30 like some are. I run it -16 for daily use. you'll know what that means once you read up on it.
6900xt on a 550w? damn dude.
Fwiw I have a 6900 xt, a 5800x and an 850 watt seasonic titanium. No Issues. Upgrade your PSU. You could probably get buy with a quality 750
