The New Super High Resolution PC Screenshot Thread

Just a couple quickies: loaded up Ghostrunner and turned on RT, DLSS to quality and set resolution scale to 4k It's kind of difficult to take screenshots when moving/fighting because you just die from literally any mistake, lol

    Forza Horizon 4

Wonder if you can actually use game capture in OBS with the steam version instead of shitty window capture with the one through the MS store. That's always pissed me off.

The franchise's biggest weakness is PvP so yeah, hopefully not.

World of Warships Enters Open Beta!

If carriers were as vulnerable as SPGs it'd be totally different. But bouncing off the decks of CVs with 460mm shells is fucking bullshit and so is their automatic defense and immunity against fires/flooding. If you have to hold players' hands that much you have completely failed to...

    mechwarrior online

The game just went straight to shit once the clans were introduced. It had problems before that but I felt the good outweighed that for a while. I do hope whoever this new dev is gets it back on track. Guess we'll see.

World of Warships Enters Open Beta!

I definitely would take the approach ships has over tanks, at least in the basic sense. The research bureau for was introduced because the grind for ships is easy to the point of being enjoyable and to, primarily, drain free XP & gold from players.

World of Warships Enters Open Beta!

I'd say it reflects the challenge of the game's progression. Ships is so fucking easy and accessible that it isn't comparable in any way to the grind of Tanks despite the similarities. You can go from a new account to tier 10 in less than a week and under 100 matches in ships. It's a complete...

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire premieres June 25

I don't get how people skipped dialogue scenes in their first playthrough. Did you do that in GTA5 or Skyrim, etc? Just because you can see where something is going on a movie do you jump ahead 10 minutes? It's amazing that people complain about not being drawn into a game (or whatever else)...

World of Warships Enters Open Beta!

I stopped streaming the game in August and lost the motivation to do videos on the regular long before that. Just too time consuming for how I wanted to do them. I don't feel the game warrants exposure or advertising from my channels anymore. Not the way WG chooses to "communicate" and...

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire premieres June 25

It took 105 hours of gameplay but I finally had a CTD. I figured it was potentially repeatable and it was, crashing again doing the same thing with the police spawning in a specific area of the badlands likely being the culprit. I'm kind of relieved that it finally happened, lol

Yeah, I'm with you. Judy looks incredible all the time because she's constantly lit by neon and other light sources. Panam has just a handful of scenes in places like that. Which leads me to the outright complaint of the lighting engine in this, and every game, of failing miserably to light...

I'm closing in on my annihilation shotgun build. I'm using a crafted headsman legendary shotgun with four damage mods and it's over 2k dps with me at level 43 now, I think. I've got just the final perk to get otherwise the whole annihilation perk tree is gold. It fucking shreds

No, I mean BF4. A lot of people upgraded for both games but I remember Newegg discussing the immense amount of hardware sales, not just on their site, in the weeks leading up and after the release of BF4. The game was a lot harder on hardware at the time than you remember. It wasn't until...

I've now encountered a second side mission that I can't complete: "with friends like these" or whatever the one with Panam and the train is. When we get back to the camp the discussion between her and Saul ends and nothing happens. Took a half hour to get to that point :(

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla

I haven't touched this since Cyberpunk came out but I seriously appreciate the flexibility in this game's graphic settings. Quick upscale to 4k, quick downscale to 1080p, on-screen diagnostics and a dedicated benchmark tool.

The New Super High Resolution PC Screenshot Thread

Games always look better with some element of depth of field and it's always easier to make it look great for a single frame than 50 of them per second. When I get home I'll post my settings so you can try it out and see if it helps.

1.05 before and after SMT fix And yes, it's as noticeable as it was in 1.04 with much more smooth driving and gameplay in general. Fixing this is a big deal and it's annoying that they downplay it. If it affects the 5800x it certainly does something to the prior gen 8 core cpus, too.

Patch 1.05 has better thread usage than 1.04 but definitely not the usage of the SMT fix. Core 2 and one of the others is still in single digits

I've been running gorilla arms for about 20 hours. I consistently run into doors I can force open. Currently around 14 on body and I've found a couple doors that require 18 or 20 to open

It's something that I imagine mods will address if CDPR won't do it themselves. I think the approach is another one of their design quirks that just misses the mark entirely. Also, holy fuck do I hate the impractical scroll bar in this game.

After work I'll have to see if it goes back to the disproportionate mess on my 2700x's threads that it was before the SMT fix. Fingers crossed for some general improvements. I hope they focus on AI at some point.

More to the point was there any console footage revealed at any time over the last two years? I actually had no idea they were releasing it on the last gen consoles and just assumed it was PS5 and Series X only.

I may or may not have spent a lot of time in photo mode so far. And, compared to other games, Cyberpunk's photo mode is surprisingly weak. It's just that the lighting and vistas are damn incredible.

There's some trees cleared out to the east of the settlement, a small dock and a wooden bridge that are all new.
