I think what the majority of people are missing with NVIDIA's CMP line is that it is being done to combat the crypto bubble effect will have on the secondary market. The CMP/Miner cards are only being produced to combat used mining cards being sold into the secondary gaming market when the...
Yep, looks like running two instances has solved my issues. Simply copied the entire NH folder into another adjacent folder, and added it to Defender exclusions. For those of you maybe wanting to do this, you have to go into the Advanced NHMiner Settings and check "allow more than one...
Thanks a million, you helped me understand some things I did not before. NHMiner does not like to start both cards at the same time from the Dashboard screen. Once I dicked around with it for a while I figured out that I could start the AMD card first, by itself, then the NV card and they both...
So I got that up and running fine using NH Miner. However, the two cards are now pulling odd workloads, whereas before I was getting pretty much all Dagger. The AMD/NV machine are all pulling BeamV3 and Kapow, which is about half the value. Do I have any control over this?
Got an extra 6900 that is sitting idle for the next couple weeks. Can I throw it on my 2080 Ti mining system and run Nicehash side by side? Thought I would ask before I try it anyway. ;)
Hmm, they overshot their miner card estimation by $100M. They sold 200% more into that market than anticipated. Hmmm. I am sure that has no impact on gamers. <wink wink>
You do understand that AMD has no control over AIB and Etail pricing, right? If fact, here in the USA and many other countries, it is ILLEGAL for AMD to try and control retail prices. I do know this, these cards could be sold at MSRP and the AIBs and etailers could still make margin.
I would be interested here to know if he gets all these cards he purchased. I know for a fact that Digital River is SUPPOSED to be validating and comparing addresses before shipping. I did pass this along to some folks that I still know over there.
Just seems very odd as your story and the actions of Digital River are not matching up at all. Should you wish to share your ticket number with me, I know a bunch of folks over at AMD still that I can hand this off to in order to get you a better conclusion.
I have handled several RMAs through Digital River over the years and they have always taken very good care of me in a timely manner.
To damage a CPU in its retail packaging, the box would have to have been damn near run over by a truck. You can take those retail boxes and play hockey with...
