I have a Win 10 primary desktop, multiple MacOS laptops, and a server running Linux in my home. I recently swapped my desktop's Win 10 LTSB for Win 10 Pro in order to play Cyberpunk 2077 and I'm honestly surprised at how crappy this operating system is, especially since I had no complaints with...
Both the previous AC Pro and the AC HD are set to VHT20 for 2.8 and VHT40 on 5 GHz. The AC PRO is still on my network (just moved to the basement) so I'm not just recalling the settings from memory. AFAIK it's as much an apples-to-apples comparison as one can get.
Not to hijack your thread but I also have a similar question and I'm interested in your experience. How's your setup treating you?
I'm currently using a Netgear R7000 all-in-one, which is connected to the AT&T provided router. I have about 120 Mbps down and up.
I'm thinking about upgrading to...
I’ve owned Witcher 3 for a few years now and I’ve struggled to reach 30 hours. It’s a good game that seemingly ticks all the boxes but at the same time feels very cookie-cutter and soul-less. I find myself playing the game out of a sense of obligation (maybe sunk cost fallacy), and guilt (almost...
Through a series of non-sequiter events, I currently have three monitors and an open question on how to configure my setup:
Dell U2713HM (27” IPS 60 hz)
Acer XB270HU (27” IPS 144 hz G-Sync)
Dell U3415W (34” IPS 60 hz curved)
How would you personally make use of these? My initial thought is the...
No one can tell the future, but some of us have better trading/investing/speculating judgement than others. Just because you can't tell your ass from your head doesn't mean others haven't made a lot of money in crypto (and will continue to do so).
You might be surprised at how much costs then vs now. In 1900 the average US annual wage was about $450 (https://panam1901.org/visiting/salaries.htm). Used dining room chairs went for $0.39 - $1.39 (https://mclib.info/reference/local-history-genealogy/historic-prices/1904-2/).
Nope. Speculators fulfill a useful role in free functioning markets. Speculation money fuels innovation (which is never a sure thing) and thus speculators are rewarded for taking on out-sized risks. It’s literally “venture capitalism” in purest sense of the term.
I'm curious, has anyone deposited out a large amount ($1 mill+) vfrom Coinbase (or an exchange) to your bank? If so, did you make a single deposit or did you split it up? Any lessons learned? Asking for a friend.
Congratulations, that was the stupidest thing posted to these forums in a long time. If you're over the age of 18 you need to take a long, hard look in the mirror and evaluate why you're such a failure in life.
Typical Linux holier-than-thou attitude:
If something fucks up in Windows, it's Microsoft's fault.
If something fucks up in Linux, it's the user's fault.
Ya'll act like part of your identity is tied up with your OS.
Chillax it's just a tool. I use Win 10 LTSB on my desktop, OS X on my...
As someone who has owned a model from every generation since the iPhone 3G, no headphone jack (and to a lesser extent, replacing the excellent TouchID with FaceID) means my next phone will not be from Apple.
So yeah I don't get this. By default there's a green icon that looks like a phone docked to the bottom of the screen. When you receive a call, the the screen turns black and there's a green phone button with the word "accept" underneath as well as a red phone button with a "decline" label.
Funny that all the butt-hurt is from non iPhone users. Most of the people who actually own an iPhone (including me) sees this as a great olive branch for what was pretty much a non-issue. That said, it's too bad they removed the headphone jack and TouchID which means my next phone won't be from...
