Some Anandtech Users Quit Formula BOINC

Yep mot, I agree. In the government, they have a similar rule. Not only can you not have a 'conflict of interest', you cannot have 'the appearance of a conflict of interest'. It is a much higher bar for when maintaining confidence in the process is critical (such as contract negotiations).

Folding@Home bigadv EOL 2nd Anniversary Challenge: The Race is over.

Great job to both teams. That was a blast, which was more than I could say about folding competitions since quite a long time ago. Great job planning to those folks who set this up.

I nom Holdolin, for some truly amazing MW and PG numbers (shoot, I need to fire up MW asap!). I also nom WFeather, as even though he isn't eligible yet, he needs the full 12 months of opportunities to get a win!

Fair point - did we need to wait 2-3 months for mail in ballots postmarked yesterday to make it in?

Folding@Home bigadv EOL 2nd Anniversary Challenge: The Race is over.

No, you have to do that for your passkey. Assuming you still have your old passkey (which has run units and successfully received bonus points in the past), you should be good to go. That being said I wouldn't recommend waiting to the last minute to try a unit, as there can always be problems...

Pi's certainly count great on WCG runtime - I plan to add one more soon and hopefully more in the spring.

    PrimeGrid's 2020 Challenge Series

My issue is fastgeek keeps 'slow burning' (for him) on WCG. So between that and other project goals, I'll be pretty swamped on CPU projects.

    PrimeGrid's 2020 Challenge Series

Great work team! It was certainly a fun run last year and hitting all of the stages made us quite competitive. I'm not sure I'll be a completionist this year, but well see.
